I like electronic codices better really given the whole update system.

That being said, GW does a lot of horrible stuff to its fanbase deliberately. I think for instance they're making calculated attempts to drive off veteran gamers.

However I doubt the poor quality codex's in print are meant to drive people to electronic versions. GW just has very bad quality control and these days could give 2 gaks about the kind of stuff they churn out.

It's more likely they don't have an actual editor/QC and just rely on the codex writer to run his spell-check/catch any errors.

Which is kinda tough if you have to do it on your own work.
