Also would you really want more party members in Skyrim?

I think he meant a mod that lets you have multiple players, if he simply wants more AI then I'm sure there are mods for that. Also, feth seekers.

I just sneakroll past them most of the time but they have an annoying habit of being invisible and standing in tight corridors I need to get past... On the bright side they seem to do almost no damage.

IIRC, they're not random, the game loads a set number of cells at a time and when you hit one of the limits it loads new ones.

I don't recall loading screens in the middle of nowhere, only the occasional stuttering while leaping across the entire map with high powered one second jumping/feather spells. Automatically Appended Next Post: The last thing I did when I played skyrim was set out to kill everyone, everywhere (or at least in all the towns and villages) with my Nord berserker. That was hilarious, if repetitive, since by that point I could easily kill giants in a straight up melee.
It was surprising to realize that the easiest way to approach combat ultimately amounted to a screaming frontal charge with a warhammer, in the heaviest armor I could find. (Aside from the ridiculous x30 damage modifier you could get with daggers, of course, though if stealth failed you were then left holding the absolute worst weapons in the game (high potential dps doesn't mean all that much when you have no range, and each hit does basically nothing), in armor little better than paper.) Before that I always played as stealthily and cleverly as I could, which was ultimately time consuming and not nearly so effective or rewarding as just racing around smashing everything that moved with a giant hammer.
I need to get a new computer and play through the dlc...

Dawnguard = Its ok. Not great, but not horrible either. The story is a bit of cop out, it makes vampires a bit boring to play (no one hunts you anymore when you are stage 4), but it does add some neat side quests and weapons, and Serrana's a pretty cool follower.
Also, if you are a bloodrayne fan, you may like dawnguard for its peculiar similarities to bloodrayne 2
Dragonborn...its fething amazing. Seriously, get it. Its worth it.

Seriously, the Soul Cairne is probably the coolest place in the game. Its barren, true, but there's this sort of eerie atmosphere that permeates the region.
And don't get me started on the Apocrypha in dragonborn...

Dragonborn is better, lasted me about 20 hours and I still had stuff to do. Main quest isn't too long but the extra exploring is awesome. Leviathan is alright, nice story but a bit on the short side, only about 3-4 hours. For value for money Dragonborn blows Leviathan out the water.

Would anyone be interested in contributing their preferred mods to a compiled list for Skyrim? I hate digging through the softcore porn on Nexus.

I don't currently have it installed on anything, and this is from almost a year ago, but the backup of mods on my external drive contains:
A Quality World Map
Auto Unequip Arrows
Better Dynamic Snow
Enhanced Distant Terrain
Lush Grass
PISE - this seems to be some sort of rebalancing mod to make things harder and improve the ai, I don't recall anything about it in practice.
Realistic Force
Realistic Lighting
SkyUI - interface mod, huge improvement over the vanilla interface
Ultimate Follower Overhaul -mostly useful for making followers level with you.
URWL - no idea what this is; it has three folders in it: "bright", "dark", "normal"... "Ultimate Real World Lighting" perhaps? That sounds right.
WARZONES_-_Civil_Unrest - this was a rather silly mod that just spawned huge battles everywhere, making travel annoying and leaving you with more free loot than you could carry. I tried it once and disabled it.
WATER_1-2_Med_Res - I think this had something to do with water textures or effects
Weapons_and_Armor_fixes - I'm not sure exactly what this did, other than correct a bunch of weird item bugs and inconsistencies. Might not apply to the current game.
I never got around to trying the more novel mods; trying to dredge through the piles of garbage on Nexus just never seemed worth the limited time I have access to proper internet. So I stuck to low performance-cost visual improvements and lighting adjustments that actually made dark areas dark, and the higher rated bugfix/rebalancing mods.

For an RPG it's pretty good I would say - and I'm really not a fan of RPGs. Course my current (and only) playthrough so far is a big brute of an Orc with Heavy armour and Volundrung. I have a set of Daedric I'll buff when my Enchanting is maxed out so I'd imagine I would ROFL-stomp everything to a point in one hit. And frankly it's hilariously gratifying to smash most Bandits and guards in one hit with an overhead swing Especially when they bug out and clip into walls. I actually have a few screenshots of some very weird clipping issues, like an Orc Bandit lying flat on the edge of a chair. Or perhaps the Cave bear that was stuck on the top of the wall with it's feet poking out.
Also, note to anyone with Boethaih's chainmail - take it off for fistfights. When you brawl the passive effect kicks in and suddenly there's chaos. One second it's a harmless brawl, the next the guards are fighting your follower and the brawler has run away.

Thats half the fun!
Or get just naked for fistfights.
My favourite part so far - I got chased by some guards into a building, which I ran through all the way up to the top (in makarth - I think. The one where you have to get arrested to go down a mine)
I thought 'there's a lot of guards in here'...Then I realised I'd run into the guardhouse.
I found a room with 1 door, so I defended there until they finally managed to get into the room with me. Then I shouted, knocked them all over and moved to the other side of the door so they now couldn't get out...
I killed them all. My bounty got up to 23,000 before I wiped out all the witnesses.
Then I realised I'd still got to get arrested to do the mission.
I couldn't find a guard anywhere.
