Also im pretty sure if there was a mechanicum army you could take titans as troops

Since superheavies are still restricted to Apocalypse, that would be pretty silly.

The Mechanicus has far more going for it on a small scale than it does on a large scale. The Skitarii are an extremely diverse force made up of Hyspasists and Sagitarii infantry and Balistera and Cataphractii armour, with Praetrorians making up the elite infantry and led by Tribunes. Throw in Knights as the large oval base unit, and you've got a 40k scale army.

I think i wouldnt like to see full on space rats as much as maybe just some sort of hairy race. Maybe a bit like a load of chewbaccas running about.

Maybe a dragon horde armie, like actual dragons

I was just reading Kill Team and they mention a couple Hrud in that book hanging out in a bar.

Someone mentioned that book came out when Tau were released, maybe Hrud were planned all along? Hopefully they were not planned as part of the Tau army since they just released a bunch of stuff and there were no Hrud anywhere to be seen.

This is a good read http://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/516179.page not a new official codex but nonetheless a good fandex on the Hrud. now GW only needs to make the figures

What were the Zoats, not familar with them. Are they back from Rogue Trader days? They look cool ,SCIFI centaur.

Sorry if this was already answered. The Zoats were a combat critter genetically engineered by the Tyranids. Not like the normal way Tyranids do it, but actually genetically engineered like the Emperor did the Primarchs and Monsanto does with your vegetables.

.

Thanks for the explanation, and the laugh, 1 up to you sir.

I like the idea of alien mercs, but looking at GW's already stressed production lines, I don't think it's feasible for GW to invest in getting more figures out that they can't even ensure will be bought.

What about an Inquisitor codex, where you would have a base stat-line for however many points, with huuuge amounts of upgrades and variety. You could spend 50 points on a weak shooting model, spend x amount to give him a sniper, x amount to become a crack shot.

Let people build their own army, but an army that would cost alot pointswise, and have only a few very elite models.
