I got my first game with the following list
Kutlah 220
CCB 80
Destroyer Lord 160 Weave and MSS
10 Warriors, Ghost Ark, Flensing Scarabs 255
10 Warriors, Ghost Ark, Flensing Scarabs 255
5 Immortals, Night Scythe 185
5 Immortals, Night scythe 185
6 Wraiths, 2 Whip Coils 230
Annihilation Barge 90
Annihilation Barge 90
Tesseract Ark 250
In today, vs some Daemons. His list, from memory was
GUO, 3 Biomancy, 2 Greater Gifts
3 Heralds, 2 with Etherblade, one with Portalglyph. All had
FNP.
3 Units of Plaguebearers, 2 units of 20, and one of 10, all with the banner.
6 Plague Drones, with the banner.
1 squad of 2 Blight Drones, and 1 squad of 1.
2x2 Beasts of Nurgle.
I was pretty lucky that he didn't roll Iron Arm on his
GUO, as I had nothing that could kill if that was the case. He rolled Warpspeed, Hemorrage, and Life Leech. His Heralds al rolled Warpspeed, except for one who got an Enfeeble. He rolled up The reroll failed invuls, and the +1 W and
IWND for the
GUO powers.
It was hammer an Anvil Deployment, with Emperors will. He won the roll, and made me go first.
To sum it, my opponent had a really rough match up. He didn't have a whole lot to take out all my
AV 13, and I had a big advantage in movement and shooting. Kutlakh did really well, I made some mistakes with the chariot rules, but he ended up eating a squad of Plague Drones on his own, and was about to eat a plaguebearer squad. The Wraiths and the
Dlords, had a horrible first round of combat with a squad of 20 plaguebearers, but ended up winning, causing most of the unit and two units of beasts to be wiped out thanks to
DI tests. The
GUO fell to over 40 rounds of Gauss Shots, A Tesla Destructor round, and full on fire from the Tesseract Ark. As I said, I was really lucky that he didn't roll up Iron Arm. My opponent conceded at the end of turn 4, as he had two units of Plague Bearers left, one which was about to get hit by Kutlakh, two groups of horrors spawned by the portalglph, and his blight drones. I had lost a Ghost Ark, one warrior, 2 wraiths, and my
CCB.
Overall, the match wasn't a really good test of the Tesseract Ark, as the shrouded cover, and 5++ invuls made it hard to get the full use out of it. It still did really well though. I'm going to keep this list for a bit longer, before I start throwing some of the other units in it.
