As an Imperial Guard player if I were to go into a second army then Eldar would be the most likely one, followed by either Black Templars or Sisters.

Since I only play Orks the rest of the armies of up for grabs.
I'd have to say Tyranids. Mostly because of Hive Guards, ignore cover and shoots without line of sight. This mixed with a wide selection of HQ and Heavy Support. Also Mystic Spores - Like Drop Pods (which I hate with a passion) these 35 point, overpowered, 1st turn deployment, blocking my shot pains in the butt. With these elements and a so-so army list and using no tactic, I still find myself scrambling. With Tactic the Tyranids are the only army that I have been tabled by, so it is at the top of my list.

It goes without saying if you are playing a force with Drop Pods in their codex - you should be using them.

I haven't played against Eldar since the new codex, but I tend to create a non psyker force - I have always held my own aginst them. The one time I had Dakkajets and Old Zogwort. I turned their Warlord Farseer into a Squig.

Another vote for Orks. I would love to just mash up anything and everything to 'make it orky'. Perhaps one day...

I never made a 40K Ork army because I already had Fantasy Orcs. Now my fantasy models have lain untouched for over a decade, and instead I look forlornly at every ridiculously awesomely converted Ork army, but know that there is no way that I'd ever toss the money into a brand new 40K army.

Nor would I ever actually get around to building every ridiculously awesome Ork concept model that I'd come up with, since I can't even get around to finishing my ridiculously awesome Space Marine Battle Company, even though I actually have nearly all the models (unassembled) that I need already.

Not to throw something at you, but Proxy
all you really need is the Ork codex. Your Boar Riders become Warbikkers, Your Wyvrm rider become a Dakkajet, Wagons become Battlewagons. Archers become Lootas.

Hmm maybe I should dust off my old Fastasy army and covert them to 40k, How funny is zooming a boar across the board, armed with a Dakkagun? it would be worth it for just that.

Imperial Guard player normally.

Orkz get my vote. Amazing fluff, great models, solid codex, tons of diversity and options.

I started Necrons because I truly think they are awesome,
then I moved on to GK and found there 2+ saves to be extremely powerful and fun to play,
My newest army is Tau which Im still not sure I like,

But as for the Army I like the most:
To play is def GK
But for story line and fluff I can't help but pick Necrons, Its why I play them, I don't like any army as much as them

I've always like the look of them and their fluff is down right juicy.

This is kind of a tricky question. I play Dark Eldar and Orks mostly and just started an Eldar army. I have a few Imperial Guard tanks sitting around I occasionally play.

As far as power goes, I think Tau are the best out there. They've brutalized all my armies at one point (except tank guard) until I did a lot of changing in tactics to get at them.

As far as gameplay goes, I'd go with Tzeentchian and Nurgle demons. I love their fluff and their random and interesting abilities intrigue me.

As far as looks, I'd go with Grey Knights. This is odd, since I don't typically like the aesthetics of marines that much, but I just love how they look. Especially with Inquisitorial accouterments.

Your opponent is cheating, if youre actually talking about mycetic spores there. Space Marine drop pods have a rule that half deploy on turn 1 - Mycetic Spores have no such rule. They are standard deep striking reserves, thus the earliest they can deploy is turn 2 on a successful reserve roll. They're also 40 points, not 35.

They are also incredibly fragile. A single S8 weapon with decent AP will instant kill it.

While I am a tau fanatic, I do have to say if I ever had to build a new army, I would go with chaos space marines, namely the iron warriors. When I was a lot younger I read a lot of the old white dwarfs, and next to the issues with the tau release they had a issue with the rules and fluff for those iron warriors.

Needless to say, I loved their background. The idea of 4 heavy support choices is also a good draw

I really like the way Tau works, but I dont want to drop cash on them really. But a low-saturation green and brown color scheme would be awesome on tau i think.

Of all the armies I dont play, Blood Angels by far are historically the toughest for me to face.

Aesthetically, I think if I had to play an army I'm not interested in it would be tyranids. Ill never own a Tyranids army in all likelihood, but they have a cool concept. Read a lot of books about bugs and monsters

Can I just hijack your opinion there as well.

Being a DE player I also have always toyed with the idea of a possible Eldar force...but mainly Nids and orks get my wallet itching

but in all seriousness, I love Nurgle as theyre very pro-conversion, but if thats too close to home I've got to go with Necron, the monolith has always caught my eye, I could never play them though because of the retreat rule, it would just irretate me.

The Necrons don't have the phase out rule any more if that is what you mean. That rule was for back when they were raiders, now the dynasties are fully waking up the rule would not be appropriate so they dropped it.

Answering the question, I have a fairly large eldar army but I would love to have a death guard chaos army one day.

Lots of tough as nails plague marines with some tank support. Totally the opposite of eldar and would be a lot of fun.

I also like the Tau but have already collected them in the past so not going there again.

Sisters of Battle, for me; the only reason I don't play them, in point of fact, is the fact that the entire army is composed of ten-year-old metal miniatures with precisely three models available for regular bolter-wielding Troops. If they got plastics I would start the army in a heartbeat.

I play Orks and Deathwing Dark Angels,

I really love my ork models and collect the Deathwing because they are polar opposite aesthetically and play wise.

Honostly though my favorite model range though is probably torn between Tyranids and Daemons (second to orks of course!).

Daemons, maybe? Been toying with the idea of Daemon allies for the CSM army that I really need to get off the ground (progress was interrupted by life and the arrival of the new Eldar codex). The only imperial army I could see myself playing would be Space Wolves. Most of the time, I think Imperial fluff tends to be a little over the top, but I was forced to read Prospero Burns by a friend and I guess Space Wolves aren't so horrible.
