As an alternative, you could say the Black Armor is the new chapter's color. The Ultramarines hate the Minotaurs, so after their meeting they could have been asked to change their color in order to avoid confusion and represent their ... rebirth, as a new codex astartes chapter.

Ofc, they may have kept a few suits with the original armor as chapter relics. After all, the recruits will have to learn the origins of their most glorious chapter

About the Windows XP logo: I completely forgot to comment about it when I saw your new paint scheme! I blame the shiny shoulders! It looks pretty darn good, all I managed to do was paint a Blue Screen of Death on my GA's orb you truly win!

I believe any chapter asked to change their colours by another would get the default responce of "get fethed". Most chapters have almost 10,000 years of history attached to their colours, they aren't going to change them just because the Ultramarines don't like somebody who looks similar.

Well, they are a special snowflake. They have been MIA for almost 10.000 years, they are already lucky the Inquisition didn't get rid of them just to be safe.

Also, it was the birth of a new chapter: they returned to Macragge as the Praxine Tempestus Task Force and left as the Eagles Victorious. Again, new color to represent this very unique moment.

But we really should either discuss this via PM or in ajmerrifield's fluff thread.

LATA is pretty good just as long as you don't leave the models in it till it evaporates...poor dark eldar...

It seems like not every dollar store carries it, I had to look around. I think the LATA website has a list of carriers though.

No, it's not that another chapter asked them to change their colours, *I* decided I wanted to change their colours because I didn't want them to be confused on the tabletop with Minotaurs. I honestly love the look/feel of the Minotaurs, but wanted my guys to stand out on their own.

I'm actually working on the Inquisitor's report for when they returned. It's been fun, looking forward to posting it in the fluff area soon.
