I think pistols are way too powerful and super unrealistic TBH. But I complained about that earlier.


I too wish the dust would be toned down, hopefully in the other maps when the game is released because WOW it gets bad. I cant tell you how many times Ill hip fire at a piece of floating dust thinking it was someone charging me

I really like that they increased the squad to five. I was playing with my brother and a couple friends, and we were steamrolling through conquest.

They were way more powerful in Bad Company 2 than in BF3, that default Russian one with the massive clip was a beast. They toned them down in 3, i guess to give PDWs a bit of a boost. Would you say they are stronger in 4 than in 3?
I liked their treatment in BC2, pistols would almost always beat all but Shotguns and PDWs at close range, you could bring them up so quick from sprinting.

Slightly more OT: I haven't felt the need to play this, i am afraid i've been slightly brainwashed. I don't wish to play the sloppy downgraded version on 360 (the only version available to me), i'll wait till next gen. For example the smoke you're complaining about KC may be a means with which to improve performance and hide ugly transitions.

Been playing on pc the last few days but the lag is totally unbearable for me. I run an amd 8350, nvidiavgtx660, 8 gigs ddr3 and i get random framerate issued whether it's on medium or ultra graphics. Its fun when it works though and I'd buy it if it didn't have those issues

I couldn't tell you if the pistol is similar in bf3 and bf4, I just know it's insane that a pistol wielding dude can take out 3 armed men like I've had it happen. MAYBE it's because they figured out how to level it off and just pop heads ( which is also very unrealistic) I dunno, just annoyed by those

Also I had some badass moments earlier while playing.
I was hitching a ride in a copter, when another attacked, and they crashed into each other. So I bail out just after a dude bailed from the other, and I shot him to death in the air.
While parachuting I took out one of those trucks from the air.
Driving a truck full speed, jumped over some stairs, and landed on 2 snipers like a friggin Boss
Disabled a truck, and 3 dudes pour out from it, so I gun them all down, then fix the truck up, and used that to do the air assault on the 2 snipers mentioned previously

So apparently the reason the console build is so crummy is that it is the E3 build.

I'm still impressed with what I'm seeing with this build. Even with the crazy bugs and glitches ( I spawned inside a building earlier ) that's why I preordered the game.

Really looking forward to this game. I'm snagging it for pc. Unfortunately I made the mistake of trying out a fps on pc and now it's hard to go back to console. However I will never buy another call of duty for pc again. The player base is just to small.

Ive played a few FPS on a PC before and it was OK. The only thing I really prefer over console is the fact that I can aim SO MUCH FASTER! But I prefer rocking out with a controller in one hand and my coffee in the other...................until I screw it up and dump the coffee in my lap.










Also, Ive realized something the last time I played this game. I frigging rock driving the trucks. I can out drive anyone, and Id put money on it. HOWEVER......I cant fly a heli to save my frigging life. Infact heres an example.
I spawn in the drivers seat, scream out "FRACK YES!!! Im the pilot!" Lift off, suddenly every seat is loaded, I panic, smash into a building, we all pile out, just as I realize I was flying the wrong direction INTO no mans land, and we all get killed because we are WAY further than 10 seconds away.......The anger in my squads voices was astounding! More so at the end when the match ended and I was in first place on our side. Im sure they couldnt wrap their heads around how this noob beat all of them at this game..

I am the best pilot ever... I can honestly out fly anything and anyone.

I crashed a Z-11 into a tank and killed it... and me... and you...
I later power slided a T-80 off of a ramp and landed on an Abrams... We won.
If you aren't willing to kill your own troops you aren't willing to win.

At least you can fly into a tank and say it was intentional. I hit a building that I didn't even know was there, a building purps! I tried 4 times, and all 4 times ended in me crashing 4 times. Though once I did manage not to not to blow up, so it was a crazy cool looking crash landing to take an objective

I found myself saying that alllll the time when I was playing BF3...

I find myself much better at the helos than the jets, which would be deeply unsettling if the jet flight model weren't horrible and restricted to treetop level. I'm a monster in helos, though. It makes me feel dirty.
