Agreed, plus I like using the unique weapon systems when I can.

I personally eschew the Skyhammer for the Typhoon, the skyhammer just isn't as good at either of the Asscann's targets as the Typhoon(plus I find my opponent spreading out due to blasts to be more beneficial with the new wound allocation rules, I can now manuever to pick off his specials, Heavy, and character better).

I feel like the Raven or Speeders are better TML users, mostly because it's so expensive on the Talon.

Talon with TML and TLAC = 145
Two speeders with HB and TML = 150 points

My brain struggles to get over that, but that's not saying the TML isn't a good weapon system, just pricey!

Oh I agree that it is expensive, but it is worth that expense.

See the 2 Speeders for 150 aren't paying for the HB, it is almost like a Kia Rio, you get it for free with the real weapon.

And 2 Speeders with TML are just about as effective vs both targets(slightly more the infantry where you want to scatter a bit) as the talon, hence the similar cost
