This thread kind of sums up why DC sucks (to me). Too many Supers without enough weaknesses.
Although, I think Wonder Woman is long past her due for a movie.

Just because it's slightly relevant.
In this / last weeks episode of Arrow, we've had.
It seems that DC are learning from Agents of SHIELD better than Marvel are. All that Arrow needs now is for the TVs in it to be interrupted by General Zod's transmission from Man of Steel and I imagine that they've managed to jump ahead.

As for Supes and Cap talking it out...am I the only one reading N52? Lol. Superman is more likely to punch out Cap THEN talk to the knocked out patriot. The new Superman isn't as friendly as he used to be...

He's quite friendly in Man of Steel...
As much as I dislike generic hero characters it's somewhat integral to who Superman is.

I still prefer the old goody-2-shoes superman. He was a true hero then. Thats how he should be. None of this modern grimdark.

You mean when Christopher Reeves Superman let Zod et all fall/freeze to death, or in the comics where he killed them with Kryptonite? That 'goody-two-shoes'? Or the 30's Superman that would smash cars with people in them or toss/punch normal humans with his super strength in ways that would be/were fatal? Or perhaps Red Son Superman that ruled the world? Ect ect ect.

My personal favorite was the Elseworlds story where Kal- el crashed at Wayne Manor before they had a son. Talk about a dark take on Superman...
Speeding Bullets it was called.

Have you seen the cover for the N52 Justice League graphic novel? Or the DC deckbuilder box, for that matter. She looks 14. This actress is guaranteed to look older. I haven't actually heard of her, so idk what she looks like yet. Off to google.
Ok, I looked her up. Face works for me, but she needs a bigger chest. Not being "a guy" here, just that her bust size is far too small to be Wonder Woman-in any format.
Yeah, but that is because New 52 is a comic book writer's fething wet dream for rehasing their favorite characters. Amanda Waller as a goddamned skinny white prostitute? How is that ANYWHERE near as badass as her original character? Batman and Catwoman having sex in their first duo in the new 52 relaunch? WTF? It's crap. They need to do movies about more character development, and less action. Right now I'd take any of the JLA seasons, or even the Superman animated series.

Shes far too skinny and having done Fast and Furious films with the Rock does not inspire me with confidence on her acting.
I am glad that they've picked somebody with a Mediterranean look to acknowledge that she is (if they go New 52) the daughter of Zues and an Amazon. Plus 5 9 isn't too bad I guess. Although if we were making compromises on height they should have just asked Emelia Clarke (Daenerys) to play Wonder Woman.
I prefer her New 52 build and I don't like how they're clearly going for the frail and delicate Wonder Woman from the current Justice League comics they're doing. Pretty different art styles.

I'm really not a fan of the whole "Wonder Woman" franchise. Superman either, really. As such, I think I'll wait and see how this movie works out since I'm not particularly emotionally invested. Not like those Wolverine movies!
Come to think of it, aside from Batman and everything Neil Gaiman related I don't much care for DC in general.

The latest news on this project:
1) They're eyeing Joaquin Phoenix for Lex Luthor. It's not clear if he'll do it, and he might have a conflict. But apparently it's who the studio wants. Hadn't really thought of him for the role, but he could be an inspired pick. IMO, he's a terrific actor who can really bring the intensity and a certain amount of insanity that the role requires.
2) Chris Terrio (Oscar-winning writer of Argo) is doing some rewrites of David Goyer's script. This supports the notion that Affleck has some major input into the DC franchises, and that he's bringing some of his people on board. Script rewriting/polishing/doctoring is a common thing, so I think this should be taken more as a good thing than an indictment of Goyer's script.
