Great report as usual. I like Be'lakor alot too, but agree with the conjecture that he needs to be an ally.

I wholeheartedly agree. If daemons were winning tournies and filling the top 10 at the rates of Tau and Eldar then maybe I would support a change, but as it stands it's just needless daemons hate.

As for this comment, one crucial aspect of the Daemon 2+ re-rollable is that it is more easily mitigated than Seers/Screamers. While Fatey can rock the 2++ re-roll, most of the other FMCs are utilizing a 2+ cover re-roll. It goes without saying that Tau/Eldar don't really care about that. Furthermore, once the Grimiore goes, the suitability starts to wain quickly. FMCs are like the old Christmas lights--lose one and the whole chain goes down.

All that being said, non-Eldar/Tau certainly have room to complain about Daemon save nonsense.

Agreed. Even with its re-rollable 2++, a screamerstar just isn't as good as the seer council. It relies on too many factors to work right and its biggest drawback is that it can't get out of combat.
