I'm going to lock this up as the odds of the OP returning to finish this after a year's silence is slim. I'll unlock if I hear back from the OP that he intends to finish it though

It's back! And no more grey plastic! Some re-engineering, some new pieces, a finished ceiling... the main cathedral is now on display at our local gaming store. The store airbrush team is about to embark on a massive paint campaign to add colour to the details of the structure now that it's finished. (This is only the primary piece as the scenery pieces exclusive of the cathedral are molded/fitted to its home table). Next few new post will include shots of the assembly at the store to give an understanding of the complexity of the build. The flexibility of this overall build was that each piece can be played as an independent piece of scenery for an infinite number of combinations when placed on the table! (if not built as the cathedral). Thanks to motyak for unlocking the thread so I can now post current updates.

As pieces are painted by the team, I'll continue to post photos of the team progress!

Part II of the table build at the store - its on a temporary table before being moved to a more display-worthy table... Nearly filling this 4x6' table... the next post will highlight the scale of this 'pet' project that might have just sorta got out of hand. *LOL*
