I suppose it depends on what the films are going for.

I mean, in theory, you could have Alice Krige playing Mara Jade and, to be honest, there'd be nothing wrong with that - and, she could no doubt, be a match for Mark Hamill / Luke.

On the other hand, neither of them are going to be doing much jumping around jedi action but then, both are a whole lot younger than Sir Christopher Lee, and he got good use out of his body double.

Yes, and they exist about most everything. While they are the vast, vast minority usually, their concentration among the Star Wars fanbase is slightly higher than normal. A few other franchises suffer from that as well as there are videos on YouTube where fans will dissect every. single. frame. of a show looking for mistakes.

In regards to size of the models, I'd say they're roughly Ork-sized in terms of area and typically a bit larger. In terms of plastic volume though, they're about the same or less due to spaceships having a lot more negative space on them. Hope that helps! If not let me know and I'll take a photo.

H.B.M.C., haven't you ever been around for fun times like the debate surrounding the terminal velocity of a Balrog? I'd think an rpg writer would have, by now, encountered some of the worst elements fandom can possibly offer - even if only online...

Alright, alright. I guess they do. The world's a sadder place.

The world has always been this sad; you're just aware of it now.

And be thankful that you got an on-topic illustration of the issue. It's much less horrifying and soul-scarring than the one I was going to send your way once I worked up my own courage to confront that it exists.

Back on-topic, I do wonder how effective the Z95 swarm will be. They look to be less agile than TIE Fighters, but in the block tactics I see most of the time with TIE swarms, I don't know how relevant that will be. Anyone done some back-of-the-napkin math on which swarm looks better on paper? I'm thinking the Z95s might have a slight edge, but I don't have anywhere near enough experience to gauge that accurately.

In order to get you a link, I'd have to go find the video again which would mean facing that such a thing exists. It's somewhat Lovecraftian in that way; as long as I pretend I never saw it, what remains of my sanity will stay intact. Suffice to say when puzzling fandoms get combined with too much time, the Internet and an audience, terrible things ensue that would even cause horror among the halls of R'lyeh... (since I brought up Lovecraft) Some things are best left buried in their dark corner of YouTube.

Besides, talking about Z95 swarms is much more interesting.

My vote for the next group coming up would be some 'neutral party' ships that could be used with either army depending on the pilot selected. Ships like others have already mentioned (R-41, T-Wing...etc) would work well, but my guesses are:

Imperial: Assault Gunboat
Rebel: K-wing Starfighter
Neutral: Cloakshape Fighter or R-41 Starchaser and a Skipray Blastboat

Pretty cool to see an entirely EU wave. I'm especially excited for the z-95. I don't think I'd want to do an entire squad of just them but they will be great for filling out squads.

Seeing as they aren't out yet, nor do the articles mention length, never say never. They are however mounted on large bases, so if you have one of those it shouldn't be too hard to get a rough estimate.

You can get the gist of the rebel transport, as there is an xwing in the box window too. Looks to be around 7-8 inches long to me.

I've not seen anyone mention a scimitar assault bomber yet. I'd love me a couple of those!
