Yay! I like this thread. Well, my terminators are going after the Plague marines but have marked that path finder who is/was following them. They're heading toward a small field armoury at the moment, hoping to find either survivors or something automatic. Oh, they are also trying to find a stronger VOX point so they can scan for any of lukas' squad and or the plague marines.

Did the Nids completely strip the planet of it's atmosphere or is it still somewhat breathable?

It should be breathable.

Most life is gone, but a lot of buildings haven't been stripped yet, food is salvageable.

My Plague Marines are headed for the highest ground available (With one squad member instead going for the Iron Warriors) so either the Xeno players or the Iron Warrior should be ideal.

Though anyone may theoretically continue, I'd rather not right now as I posted recently and I want to give everyone opportunity to react should they wish.

So I was thinking about adding a common enemy to the game. I'm thinking an inquisitor drops down on the planet, sets a date for exterminatus, while trying to stop us from reaching the escape shuttles, he would be targeting everyone, xenos and chaos for being, well, xenos and chaos, and the guardsmen for stealing the governor's water, but for now the marines would be safe from his wrath, unless you want to make your new recruit a secret heretic that is . What does everyone think?

I might have him heretic, maybe when the marines and plague marines fight again?
Other wise, maybe a plague marine stabs Avicus in the elbow (it was damaged) and then the inquisitor wants to kill him to make sure he is not corrupt? What do you think?

I was thinking he had video surveillance of most of the city, so he know who is where (roughly) and what they have done.

Wrist-mounted.
E.g grey knights.
If any one has a major problem about it, they can explode or solething.

I think as long as you say it is wrist mounted it is fine.

Pff, and hang out with those fashion rejects? My Stormies are too cool for Chaos and their outdated style. Spikes and chains were soooo 40th Millennium.

Alex, I think that was a bit of a godmode there.

You have to take into account that the Crux is very capable of halting the grenades before they can hit the armour, it is not gauranteed but it is a possibility.

In my opinion, not really knowing how the Crux works i didn't assume it was always active and it needed power diverted to it (much like a Shadowfield or Tau Stealth field) and i also believe me having the ambush is also justified due to having said i was stalking them in previous posts while he said he lost the tracing on the Xenos. But i will take this into account and try not to do anything like that again. For the record, it's still just a single Wych with a knife at your throat in the middle of 3 heavily armed and armoured terminators, if he decides to make a fight of it she will undoubtedly get a few stormbolter shots to the face while the Marine walks away (yes, Marines can walk away from such) with 'just' a knife in the throat


@Edit. Otto, i actually really like your look on this. A different approach and i like it, things are getting very interesting.

Just dropped in on this myself, seems like fun. Thanks Alex, I thought it would be cool to add a little more adversity xD. I don't expect they'll last long, especially if they encounter that large group of Chaos buddies lol.
