An Incubi plastic unit might finally have a generic unit leader. (I think that Drazhar and the longcoated Vect's thugs don't count)

Genuine question, I'm not aware of one.
Sure, a few of the 3rd/4th edition codexes didn't introduce anything new. 4th Edition Chaos Marines for example, took out all the daemon options (apart from cheap 'generic' options) and added nothing new at all. That's ancient history now though.
I'm a big fan of the Dark Eldar since their reboot, and would love to see more variety in their units when the new codex comes out. Gotta love dual kits.

They better start pumping out some special character models, or the DE are going to loose nearly their entire HQ selection when the book comes out.
Yup, Just Lelith and Urien at the mo. Hard to see Vect disappearing, but the Baron, Sliscus, Decapitator and Malys are almost certainly staring over the precipice.
I hope that they keep the Incubi Aesthetic, I love my 5th Ed metal ones. - Grotesques would be a must for plastic for me, obviously a voidraven and I would like a succubus/bloodbride kit. However, given the Ork releases monopose characters will probably be the way of things.

Two non-spacemarines, not even imperium armies in succession? That's really hard to believe.
We have GK, SW and DA on the imp-side and DE and Necs on the Xeno-side. I'd expect GW to alternate between Spess Muhreens and the xenos.
But Father Gabe's 18-0 stats are a weighty counterargument, so there's that...

We did get Daemons, Tau, and Eldar all in a row. The pattern of alternating Xenos/Imperium really hasn't held true since 5th edition.

Dang I can't believe it's already time to update DE. Maybe it just feels so soon because the last update took so long. I don't play much 40k any more but I still have my DE army.
I honestly think that the Dark Eldar line is one of the bet range of models ever produced for any game system. Here's hoping for some plastic Incubi.

What else could Grey Knights possibly need? They get the giant baby carrier of doom? They can use pretty much everything in the Space Marine codex and then some. Character updates for BA and SW chapters would be nice (Ragnar Blackmane, Ulrik,Cmdr Dante,Mephiston, Corbulo) DE besides needing some more bang for their buck and character models, don't really need a lot in terms of updates to their army list. A plastic Archon/Dracon/Haemonculi/Drazhar would be pretty sweet though.

I think this may be likely due to the scale of the ork release, we may see a smaller release of a less popular army then see another big release of say BA or SW after that.
It would probably push be over the edge to getting into dark elder if they do a flyer - id like a pure flyer and jetbike army. I don't like there other skimmers

GK have 3 plastic sprues to their name. Not exactly an extensive range. There's loads of new kits they could get. Unique LR or Rhino chassis tanks, for starters. A Dreadnought. GK Centurions would make a lot of sense, they're the army that started this whole Power Armour Inside Power Armour fad in the first place.

Two of those boxes make all the infantry types for the Grey Knights.
The Grey Knights in Power Armor make Grey Knights, Purifiers, Purgation Squads, and Strike Squads.
The Grey Knights in Terminator Armor make Terminator Grey Knights and Paladins.
I doubt they would get a unique LR or Rhino chassis vehicle, but I could see a plastic upgrade kit for their vehicles like the Ravenwing sprue for Dark Angels.

Nerfing Haywire would, without allowing Wyches to use their Dodge against overwatch (even at a lower value like 5+ or something), pretty much make Wyches a never take unit. Plus it wouldn't really make sense to Nerf Haywire with the Dark Eldar when Tau would still have a lot of access to it. Especially when you consider the much greater range of anti-tank firepower in the Tau codex compared to the Dark Eldar one. Would like to see the Chronos and Talos get a buff (maybe a speed boost of some description) to make them a more enticing option over the Ravager/Razorwing/Voidraven. Can see them nerfing Reavers. Or moving them to Troops to sell more kits

I bet the new Codex is mostly copy and paste, with some Point adjustments and some dropped spcial characters. Dont think haywire is in danger. Bladevanes might get weaker or stronger, who knows if GW writes the rules. But if you can bet on something:
Mandrakes will take a hit with the nerf bat. Why? Cause it makes no sense! Its just GW

Mandrakes will have obviously been doing too well in the GW meta and need to be toned down
After all, their CC characters were apparently better than their Psykers, hence 7th editions psychic changes
