The unit is good, but I don't see it being supremely top tier. It can, shall, and will walk over anything without an invulnerable save, but daemons give it trouble. In most 2-source formats, I (sadly) will have to leave it at home unless I just want to play some fun and challenging games.
It did make up for its deaths in games by nabbing at least 1 extra

Slaaneshi daemons will rip it apart as well, with the mass rending. Hordes+invulns will give it trouble.
It isn't invisibility or re-rollable 2+ broken, but I think it
is broken. There are a few armies that just were not built to handle 5 WS5, T7 3+4++
MC's in a single unit.
Like, I lament for all Necron players. Strength 7 AP4 is there bread and butter. Even warscythes will do jack all.
