Not quite. It was removed from Steam by a member of Valve despite receiving many, many greenlight votes. when Gaben found out, he immediately reversed that decision. Calling it 'banned' (defacto or otherwise) adds a level of drama that simply isn't there.

Ok your right about the dram. It wasn't dramatic, but not being on steam might as well mean a game doesn't exist in a PC gameing space. It's more a condemnation of steams level of control.
