So far I've got:
Breaking Bad - Saul The Simpsons - Lionel Hutz WWE - Irwin R. Shyster Harvey Birdman Attorney At Law - Harvey Birdman Phoenix Wright series - Miles Edgeworth (I prefer him to Phoenix) Scrubs - Ted Futurama - the humanoid chicken lawyer
who else is a good fit?
Irwin R. Shyster was an accountant, not a lawyer Hence the initials I-R-S.

Waiting for my shill money from Spiral Arm Studios
You might also consider Judge Judy and Judge Wapner.
Self-proclaimed evil Cat-person. Dues Ex Felines
Cato Sicarius, after force feeding Captain Ventris a copy of the Codex Astartes for having the audacity to play Deathwatch, chokes to death on his own D-baggery after finding Calgar assembling his new Eldar army.

You're not wrong. However that doesn't make me incorrect, it just means that I had limited exactness in this particular circumstance. (did that sound lawyery enough to fool anyone?)
Also forgot to mention as a qualification for the job, I quite liked the song 'Objection' by Shakira, and am capable of singing it in a courtroom

Don't forget 'Tiny Attorney', the southern fried Quato-style lawyer in the Venture Brothers, and Michelle the (angel) Lawyer from American Dad!
There's also Bob Loblaw, Wayne Jarvis, and Barry Zuckerkorn from Arrested Development. THREE awesome lawyers there! Oh, and of course Maggie Lizer, the fake-blind-fake-pregnant lawyer. You could also count Chareth Cutestory, Michael Bluth's lawyer alter ego. So FIVE lawyers that could be great for GW.

Kirasu: Have we fallen so far that we are excited that GW is giving us the opportunity to spend 58$ for JUST the rules? Surprised it's not "Dataslate: Assault Phase"

They might remember him from such model ranges as their own 2000ad range.
Which was thrown into a big pot with pop culture and Michael Moorcock and regurgitated as Warhammer 40K.

Obviously he is being conflated with Shyster of the law firm of Flywheel, Shyster, & Flywheel - of whom Waldorf T. Flywheel was the most outspoken.

Well that kind of talk certainly just cost you a job
It didn't lose Jes Goodwin his job .

I am not a lawyer. But then I don't think GW is actually looking for a lawyer, per se. I expect that GW is looking for someone with a lawyer-ey attitude and the right GW team spirit.
I know you're not but you're more lawyer than they'd listen to anyway.
Six mistakes mankind keeps making century after century: Believing that personal gain is made by crushing others; Worrying about things that cannot be changed or corrected; Insisting that a thing is impossible because we cannot accomplish it; Refusing to set aside trivial preferences; Neglecting development and refinement of the mind; Attempting to compel others to believe and live as we do

There is another thread that popped up listing a GW opening for a fiction writer in addition to the in house lawyer posting. Given the number of initial claims in the Chapterhouse lawsuit that had to be latter dropped or were lost, are we sure they're not the same entry? If they're not, GW may save themselves some money by consolidating the two related jobs openings.

We know this job needs someone who can understand ... legal concepts
Their biggest lesson learned from the Chapterhouse lawsuit?
My thoughts precisely.
I'm currently thinking about writing them an application letter. I have no legal knowledge whatsoever, never mind corporate/IP law, but hey, I can advise them not to do stupid things and I can write a CV. Since Gee-Dubs hires not for skill but for attitude... hell, why not?

At Games Workshop we are looking for people who will do their best to understand the needs of the company and to put those needs first when they are at work. Because of this we believe that what you are like, hence the attitude your show to work and the way you choose to behave is even more important than your skills or experience.
If you wish to apply you must send us a letter telling us why you want this job. We select candidates for interview on the content of their letters. This is a great opportunity for you to let us know that you understand what we are looking for.
No letter, no interview.
It may also help to include an up to date CV.
When you have gathered this information, you e-mail it to recruitment@gwplc.com, quoting reference number 1903 in the subject of the e-mail.

They do know they are addressing this to fully fledged college graduates and not some tenage boy fresh off high school right?.

My favorite part "it may help to include an up to date CV". Basically they're saying they don't care if you worked at the biggest law firm in the world or washing dishes in the back of Applebee's, they just want to read your letter. As someone in charge of hiring for a government contractor, this blows my mind. If I hired people based solely on their enthusiasm for going to the middle east and blowing up, I can only imagine the amount of tribunals and lawsuits that could cause. I don't care about your cover letter, I want to know your qualifications so you don't kill innocent people or get me or my men killed trying to play cowboy.
