I have not realised it is this bad out there. I play at a small club and everyone is friendly and plays with anyone who shows up. Sure there are loads of bickering and calling stuff OP, but we (eldars) get to play.

Becuase eldar seem to make a large or larger part of the group, if the group is small. 4-5 eldar players in a 30 man group will have a much different social power then 10 in a 100+group

"I don't play against this, I don't play against that, I won't play against this, this, or that, either, and if you so much as even think about playing that then you're a bad person and I hope you kill yourself."

I didn't say I don't play against eldar. Out of the 4 people I play the most 2 play eldar or armies with a lot of eldar ally.

Gee, I wonder why the feth 40k is dying? What sane person would invest their money and time into a hobby like this to put up with this kind of garbage? The people who still consider themselves active players honestly spend more time refusing to play the game than they do actually fething playing anymore.

I don't know because the only fun some people can get from games in a system where Eldar and IG exist at the same time, is if the eldar players have as bad of a day as the IG player. And even then it doesn't work, because the eldar player can always go to a tournament and win some stuff, or actualy sell his army and get some money in return. While the IG player can't sell his army and going to tournaments with IG, is wasted entry fee and travel costs.

I will admit that the presence of an Eldar cheesemonger can dramatically upset a local meta. Fortunately, most can be convinced to tone their lists down so people will play against them.

If the only way is for neither player to have fun, then why play at all? Surely there is some middle ground or room for compromise? And despite what you think, you can't take any Eldar list to a tournament and stand a chance of winning. In fact, Eldar have yet to win a major tournament yet. If you're concerned aobut selling your army, people will buy virtually anything that's painted well.
