This Thallax from the cohort i did for this month's unofficial painting challenge: http://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/662389.page#8095591

He was among the thallax on Isstvan3 which were buried and then smashed back up to cut off a retreatin landraider.
I figured that the easiest way to bury some thallax would be to dig a trench and then pour the grit and dirt back over them; so this is what i think that would do to their paintwork!

And here he is alongside one of my normal efforts..

I like the pink eldar and the wraithguard with the copper (golden?) helmet. Very striking stufuf.

Thanks very much! It's really nice to have so many compliments for my first 'properly' painted models - i'm normally very lazy and hide that behind the 'factory fresh' concept.

Some great stuff here. This is my first actual finished vehicle. I have at least a dozen more vehicles in various stages of being built. My problem is that I much prefer building (and converting) models to painting them. I do like how this one came out, though. I'm especially happy with how the large headlight turned out.
