You forgot about Plague Marines and Bikers, but alright.
Raptors have the benefit of being able to Deep Strike and being infiltrated by Huron. They just suffer from not being Bikers.

Fitting that mlk day is right around the corner because you my friend have a dream, a dream that one day all dreads will be equal

The biggest problem I can see is that they compete in the FA slot with spawn, bikes and drakes, but I think they can do well in small to medium sized games. What's your experience with raptors, are they good for their cost, or do they generally underperform?
I ran my raptors as bodyguards to a JP sorc (didnt have a bike model) and they did pretty good as a harassment unit. A big thing to remember with them that alot of people forget is that they do not trade their cc weapons in for the special weapons, they have the joy of being able to carry both! This is big come assualt time as the loyalists have to trade their cc weapons in to carry flamers or meltas. I run them either two melta or two flamer, never mixed, but if I chose not to do that I get good success out of stock set up too when just taking them as wounds for a sorc or lord.

I would sign this contract but I already ate the potato

I think you mean the Kytan Daemon Engine of Khorne. If so, he is pretty awesome. I was in a team tournament recently and my teammate brought one of those that he converted from a Lord of Skulls and an Imperial Knight. It did pretty well.

I run them routinely in my Khorne Daemonkin lists, and they often do well, if not overwhelmingly so. 2 meltaguns gives you a nasty deepstrike unit that can fry a tank when they drop, but 2 flamers can be amazing vs. Orks or other hordes. Never take plasmaguns as they can't assault if they actually use them. In the CSM codex, I would suggest taking any mark except Tzeentch, or no mark at all.

Don't forget Havocs also can spam special weapons..
Speaking of havocs, now the HS slots are less elusive, do people think special weapon havocs worth looking into? I used a couple of squads with meltas mounted in the rhino previously, they ended up facing up against a squad of regular csm in a rhino and a las/ ac predator and I came out on top of this intra-codex comparison fight (until a n enemy Juggerlord charged in and finished them off ).
