That's insane. How much money does a Taxi Driver make in a year?

The ones who has to lease the medallions?

If I'm not mistaken, it's something like 22K to 30K.

No idea what they'd make if they actually owns the medallions...

It said the corporate medallions were reaching that much, the owner/operator medallions are a different price. Still, both are overpriced it would. It also said that the main difference was that having a medallion is what allows one to be hailed so I imagine there are still taxi services (like Uber and Lyft are) where you can call and ask to be picked up instead of calling a taxi over on the street.

working out in Saudi, I've been fingerprinted quite a lot.
You even need to be fingerprinted to get a mobile phone SIM card.

If the thought of something makes me giggle for longer than 15 seconds, I am to assume that I am not allowed to do it.

I actually didn't know, thus I hedged my bet with a 'new' modifier. It could mean one specifically for the city, one for the state, one for the Federal. But it really doesn't matter if one exists or not to get my point across

Regardless, Uber et al should follow the same regulations as Taxis, and really shouldn't get away with making drivers independent contractors (I do taxes, and I have to deal with people getting a nasty surprise when they come in because a business tried to claim they were independent contractors instead of employees. People don't realize what that means until it's too late.)

We...agree completely. I'm scared. Someone hold me.

-"Wait a minute.....who is that Frazz is talking to in the gallery? Hmmm something is going on here.....Oh.... it seems there is some dispute over video taping of some sort......Frazz is really upset now..........wait a minute......whats he go there.......is it? Can it be?....Frazz has just unleashed his hidden weiner dog from his mini bag, while quoting shakespeares "Let slip the dogs the war!!" GG

Pretty much depending on the site you get finger printed at. Federal site are digital with a hard print back up. That training sucks but done correctly its damn scary with the black ink. Think you will get a hard copy of your original prints and two copy prints of it. The digitals are mainly used and are stored in a Federal data bank. Same location of the US Military and some OGA DNA samples
