Hey pal, just letting you know, since you're based in Cavan, there's a pretty active 40k scene in Drogheda. You'd probably get to Dublin as quick but at least there's free parking and you won't be stuck in traffic.

Thanks mate. There is about 11 or 12 regular gamers in Cavan and we're going to have an inaugural 40K 1500 point league in 2020. I had often thought of expanding my gaming group so I may attempt to get up there. Do they have any tournaments?

There are two clubs here, in the Drog. The one I play in has maybe 8 members. We're all veterans going back to 3rd or 2nd Edition in some cases.

We don't do tourneys anymore. We used to and there's talk of getting back into it but life is getting in the way for a lot of us at the minute.

It's refreshing to hear of a large group playing in rural Ireland outside Dublin, Cork and Limerick.
