I had a friend pick me up a copy of Slaves to Darkness as it has to be my favorite book GW have produced, I spent hours pouring over a copy borrowed from a friend. I hope that this trend of re releasing stuff on its 30th anniversary carries on.

They reformed as Memoriam, not quite as heavy as Bolt Thrower but still war themed, abet World War rather than 40k:

They released an album this year, which made my top ten of the year, and have a new album out in March. I had the pleasure of seeing them just before Christmas for their annual gig in Birmingham.

Thanks for the info, Looky. End of BT was a shock. Even though they were very active for so many years, plenty of opportunities to watch them live, their end came way too early. Will check out Memoriam.

Regarding BT and Realm of Chaos:

StD is such a good and timeless book, definitely a must-read for all things Chaos. Good to see it available again

But what a swansong of an album Those Once Loyal was. As perfect as death metal gets.
Yes! For the longest time they decided to let it all end with Those Once Loyal, as they were of the opinion that it was the perfect final album and one they could never top.

Holy gak, thanks for the heads up! I'll look into this as soon as possible.

Back on topic my friend managed to secure me a copy and a Necromunda pin while he was at it, can't wait for the end of the month to come around so I can pick it up and have it a good read.

If they've got their trade stand (one other than FW) then yep!
