I use the GW primers as well ( black, grey and the bone color) I tried a coup[le of cans of army painter and both came out very fuzzy, i have used krylon in the past as well but found they started to get a little (dusty? not sure how to describe it, the finish was smooth still but it came off easily like a fine coat of dust) when they switched the product

I absolutely love ArmyPainter rattlecans....when they work. I have had at least three so far that despite stringent cleaning of the nozzle and upside-down spraying to clear after every use, about halfway through the can the nozzle just clogged up and backfilled the top of the can, ruining it. I had one that actually wouldn't stop spraying a little pee-stream after I used it, even though when using it it worked just fine.

Yes. But a proper shrinking primer shrinks much more and conforms more closely to the underlying surface regardless of how it's applied.
