I suspect HH has been pretty good for their bottem line.

Opinions are not facts please don't confuse the two

I run a mix... I guess what you have seen is inexperience. My Primaris tend to last. I don’t stick them out there to get drilled by flat 2d or 3d ranged weapons with rending AP.

Bow down to Guilliman for he is our new God Emperor!

Martel - "Custodes are terrible in 8th. Good luck with them. They take all the problems of marines and multiply them."

"Lol, classic martel. 'I know it was strong enough to podium in the biggest tournament in the world but I refuse to acknowledge space marines are good because I can't win with them and it can't possibly be ME'."

DakkaDakka is really the place where you need anti-tank guns to kill basic dudes, because anything less isn't durable enough.

Munitions factories won't turn a profit during peace times after all.

"Courage and Honour. I hear you murmur these words in the mist, in their wake I hear your hearts beat harder with false conviction seeking to convince yourselves that a brave death has meaning.
There is no courage to be found here my nephews, no honour to be had. Your souls will join the trillion others in the mist shrieking uselessly to eternity, weeping for the empire you could not save.

To the unfaithful, I bring holy plagues ripe with enlightenment. To the devout, I bring the blessing of immortality through the kiss of sacred rot.
And to you, new-born sons of Gulliman, to you flesh crafted puppets of a failing Imperium I bring the holiest gift of all.... Silence."

To be honest, my Sisters had a rough time with a all-primaris list that camped heavily in cover a little while ago. I was routinely unable to cause as much meaningful damage as planned, which hurt. I won, but it was uncomfortably closer than I was expecting from an all-primaris list, which I usually sort into the mental category of "free win". It made me realize how tailored my list was to fight Imperial Guard, Tyranids, and SM tankhammer and how badly I lost my momentum when the enemy didn't die the way I planned for.

However, apart from that once instance, Primaris armies have put up exceptionally poor showings. For the most part, I scythe through them like butter with my Space Wolves, Guard, and Sisters; and I witness other doing the same. As I said, I think I have a solid use for Hellblasters, and possibly Intercessors, but they're not independently viable or particularly viable en-masse.

Guardsmen, hear me! Cadia may lie in ruin, but her proud people do not! For each brother and sister who gave their lives to Him as martyrs, we will reap a vengeance fiftyfold! Cadia may be no more, but will never be forgotten; our foes shall tremble in fear at the name, for their doom shall come from the barrels of Cadian guns, fired by Cadian hands! Forward, for vengeance and retribution, in His name and the names of our fallen comrades!

Indeed. Getting rid of HH would be a definite plus for me. Maybe then FW could actually start to do some interesting stuff again.

This is like a throwback to July 2017. “Primaris suck!”. Now that we’ve had cost reductions on some units you can’t convjnce me that Tac Marines are worth taking over Intercessors. Hellblasters are great. Inceptors and Aggressors are reasonable. I don’t particularly like the look of Gravis armour, but behind Sanguinary Guard and Death Company, Intercessors and Hellblasters are among the nicest looking miniatures Blood Angels can put on the table. I look forward to seeing further Primaris releases, and I’d love to see some type of Terminator equivalent (ie 2+ save, 3 wounds; not Aggressors).

I will never not believe Primark G and Crimson are in a deluded primaris circlejerk as they prophesise the ending of normal marines.

You love the T-Rex. Its both a hero and a Villain in the first two movies. It is the "king" of dinosaurs. Its the best. You love your T-rex.
Then comes along the frakking Spinosaurus who kills the T-rex, and the movie says "LOVE THIS NOW! HE IS BETTER" But...in your heart, you love the T-rex, who shouldn't have lost to no stupid Spinosaurus. So you hate the movie. And refuse to love the Spinosaurus because it is a hamfisted attempt at taking what you loved, making it TREX +++ and trying to sell you it.

IMO Primaris really suit Raven Guard CTs (Iron Hands at a push), and so are a bit stiff in list building, unfortunately, imo. SftS on Aggressors is vicious, and RG intercessors in cover are among the toughest troop choice in the game. So if you're seeing them tabled in turn 2 that's probably not the fault of the infantry unit profiles. Where they are severely let down on durability is on their ++ saves, of which they have none (Captain aside). That can be fixed, especially by using FW Dreads instead of repulsors or redemptors, and doing so doesn't spoil the aesthetic of the army. A double Stormcannon leviathan and a few Las-Mortis Dreads are great complements to a Primaris army...

You would effectively be fielding an army of proxies. Not a big problem in friendly games but almost certainly a problem in tournament games.

The only reality that matters is mine.
