Really? I'm expecting GW to go, 'you have troops with bolter/flamer/melta options, elites with bolter/flamer/melta, fast attack with bolter/flamer/melta, heavy support with bolter/flamer/melta and dedicated transport with bolter/flamer/melta. Here are plastic bits for them.
Now go and paint them black/red, black/white, red/black, white/black, black/black or silver/white.

I just hoping for a few characters too.

They changed the white armour and black robes of Sacred Rose to white armour and red robes in 5th, but otherwise accurate.

To be fair the 3rd ed colors were white with black robes (and Ebon Chalice wears black armour with white robes), I just know about the change specifically because I was pretty heavilly into playing Sisters at the time and was soaking up everything I could about them like a sponge.

This would actually be the "lose money" choice for GW. If all they do is make Sisters plastic without introducing new wargear options then people who already have metal armies have much less incentive to buy into the new kits; there's plenty of precedent already with Rubric and Plague Marines getting brand new types of wargear beyond what their original iterations were equipped.

Sisters though will likely get a ton of new players just like when DE and Necrons got a reboot. I know myself and a lot of other players in my area who want a sisters army but don't want to deal with expensive metal models. Sisters should sell like hot cakes even if they don't get a ton of brand new stuff.

it finally was an army where primaris make sense to use.
