You really shouldn't speak in absolutes. Most big events now-a-days are pretty big sticklers, especially LVO. As it just so happens, every sisters play plays WYSIWYG because all of the wargear is modeled on the metal minis. They each have grenades, pisols, and primary weapons. You'd have to be a masochist with a file to make them not WYSIWYG. I also made a nifty relic blade for my Canoness. So really, I can't recall the last game I've played where my army wasn't 100% accurate.

You building a relic sword bit from whatever you used doesn't mean the evnt required everyone to do so. Hence the absolute. No event ever has required 100% WYSIWYG because no event ever has required people to manufacture their own bits to represent relics.

And weapons is something many tournaments are sticklers and for damned good reason. That plasma gun ain't suddenly meltagun. Or i expect you to stick banner on every model with text declaring wargear. Simply having it in list is not enough as there's no way to identify which model from paper is on board for sure. Except wysiwyg. Or model having flag with wargear visibly written
And yes many tournaments are absolutely requiring for weapons. Sure grenades and standard pistols models come get pass but this canoness would not. Claiming otherwise is deliberate lying. So lance. Care to still claim despite then publicly admitting being liar?

you can't even see the pistol unless you look VERY closely (more closely then I reckon you would while playing a tourny) , it's hidden by the robes.

Yes. Neither can see bolter. Which alone disqualifies it in wysiwyg. Bolter is very much optional wargear which is mandatory for office. Lack of it disqualifies model from tons of tournaments on wysiwyg ground even without pistol

The point isn't really whether or not WYSIWYG is enforced somewhere or to what degree. It's just hilarious that GW, always pushing the "no model, no rules" thing, brings out a brand new model and feths the rules up so that the model doesn't have valid rules to represent it fully.
We'll see it FAQ'd once the regular codex comes out, at least that's my best guess as to why it's taking them so long.
