Or it might be Lord of the Rings related. We know there's the Amazon webseries coming and they teased some new Easterlings not long ago.
This might be something Lumineth related.

I'm guessing the mystery tile will be either a new Warhammer Quest or a new 40k quest. People keep theorizing the former, and a witch hunter character fits, but I think Blackstone Fortress was more popular and most of those sets are OOP.
Also, this seems like a pretty hefty reveal schedule, even if its only a model for each of the different games. Wonder why they're showing them off now, and not on a big date, like Christmas or New Years.

Or it's Lord of the Rings tie-in to the Amazon series.
It's a question mark. It could be anything.
Also, this seems like a pretty hefty reveal schedule, even if its only a model for each of the different games. Wonder why they're showing them off now, and not on a big date, like Christmas or New Years.
The New Year's bit usually is bigger than it was, as it's usually tied in to open gaming day at Warhammer World. Christmas tends to be what we saw this year: a preview that's done in advance.

It's pushing me further towards thinking Lumineth wave 2. The 'monster'(it's insinuated that it is actually fairly small as the match-up for it was the Twin Scribes from Tzeentch Daemons) for the Wind Temple was described as a fox-faced spirit that leapt through the air trailing ribbons/banners and was armed with a bow.

I certainly expect the Warhammer Underworlds preview to be the 3rd season 4 warband, which looks to be Soulblight.
For AoS, I look forward to book 2 of Shattered Realms, which we've heard nothing about for a while.
40k is trickier. Maybe a preview of the next few months codexs? Like how they revealed the October, November and December books back in September.
Kill Team will be the new Starter Box, looking like it'll be the new plastic Flayed Ones inside (from the old video teaser), and probably assault intersessors.
Titanicus will be whatever titan was previewed in the teasers.
I hope the mystery game is Mordheim, which would use the Witch Hunter style models they teased. Holy smokes that'd be amazing.

But they’ve only just re-released LOTR, as evidenced by this weekend’s re-releases of classic models.
Plus. The teased Easterling is using Weta’s designs for them, so would be tied to that license, rather than a hypothetical license for the Amazon series, which we don’t even know they have.

The wind definitely leans toward the Lumineth. Unless you read it as winds of magic = endless spells.
Now, does GW have the rights to the Amazon show? I know they (Amazon) have been working on the show for a while, but I assume it's still a long ways off and they probably wouldn't be able to do any promotional stuff from the show until it's close to being out. They wouldn't want spoilers to come out this early, before trailers, promotional pics, etc (although Lego has spoiled movies months before they're released, so I could be wrong.)
How soon was the Hobbit stuff revealed when the movies were announced/released? I remember they released "Bolg" before he got his redesign in the final movie, so they're clearly allowed access to WETA (and the cast was shown with their barrel models, since one of the dwarves was a GW fan)

The shape of the secret reveal matches the Age of Sigmar logo shape, which makes me think it's more likely to be a Warhammer Fantasy related item of some sort.

That’ll vary license to license.
When GW stores got their demo/shelf copy of The Two Towers rule book, staff had to black out an image of an Uruk Hai Berserker because of licensing requirements (it was fine to be in the book overall, but wasn’t to be shown off until a specific date). I don’t recall there being others, but given I was the bloke with the sharpie, I can guarantee the Berseker one for sure.
This can be to keep surprises for the show/film, as well as to try to head off pirating of designs as much as possible for all license holders.

Sure, and this coming weekend has more re-releases...that are only until stocks run out.
It's not unbelievable for them to have another "Armies of..." book detailing things, especially since The Second Age already has elements in Middle Earth(the Last Alliance is part of that timeframe) which could be a good thing. Biggest note though is that as you said, they've only just re-released LOTR...yet they have not touched any of the original releases from FoTR which includes items that would be present in Second Age.
Plus. The teased Easterling is using Weta’s designs for them, so would be tied to that license, rather than a hypothetical license for the Amazon series, which we don’t even know they have.
The teased Easterlings use elements of Weta's designs for them. Notably the head crests. The rest of it is difficult to ascertain given that it's a silhouette.

More Codices, more Space Marines.
And AoS which is fine that's a good line becoming varied.
These previews are far too predictable.

Honestly, not sure if GW would even want the licence or be willing to do anything with it. Between LotR and Hobbit, the show is more likely to emulate the later.

I would LOVE a Kitsune themed Lumenth spirit.
I've long wanted the elves to take on a more Japanese theme.

Because they've gone back to 1/month, for some reason, we already know the Feb/March ones are Dark Angels & Dark Eldar, though I can't remember which way round. Revealing the April one (or ones, if they're feeling optimistic) wouldn't be a bad shout, though I'm doubtful they'd go as far as May.
DA would presumably confirm the remaining releases from the SM 'dex - such as the new speeder - though I'm curious as to whether they confirm any new releases for DE aside from Lilith.

I feel like the ? part has a very slim possibility of being an announcement of an agreement with Amazon's Middle Earth show- no miniatures or anything, just that a deal is in place.
More probable is it's some new spin off title for AoS or 40K.

GW also won't want to reveal too far in advance right now in case covid throws up another issue. Might be new restrictions; production shortfalls being worse than estimated or even someone key in GW factory catches covid and it shuts down the work teams/factory for two weeks.
At the same time if things go better than hoped GW might be able to ramp up production and push toward 3 times a month etc...

It's another Aelementari Temple so more Teclian.
At most there might be a Vanari character coming to give us something other than Light of Eltharion or Avalenor to use as a real beatstick.
