I love Ogryns; abhumans make the Guard so much more interesting.

Some have suggested bumping up Ogryns a bit- like giving them access to doctrines or whatever. What I would like to see is a regiment whose schtik is more effective use of Abhumans.

You could achieve this in two ways: you could create a regiment (or a build-your-own regiment trait) which allows abhuman units to receive Orders, representing the regiment's superior integration of Abhumans.

The other option is creating a Crusade Battle Honour that allows a commander to develop the ability to issue orders to Abhumans. Of the two, I prefer this option, but that's because I'm a Crusader; this option would not help Abhumans get more matched play table time.

I want to run a mini-campaign within the larger campaign- say a four game series- where the Imperium swoops in to save a group of reluctant abhumans from Xenos or Chaos, and those abhumans then decide to fight for the Imperium in return for the intervention that saved their village.

I'd also like to use Rauss and Rein as ambassadors to a Rattling settlement- if the guard can escort R&R to a rattling village, they convince the Rattlings to join the Imperium.

As Tau Auxiliaries this is another example of underdevelopment of the setting.

Hopefully the AoS experience will teach GW that smaller more compact releases may be profitable... I would be interested from an hobby perspective to have a Guard regiment heavy on abhuman (and even moreso to covert it as traitor Guard)

I can't condone a place where abusers and abused are threated the same: it's destined to doom, so there is no reason to participate in it.
