I used to have a problem but then I bought some more IKEA shelves.

I was only really able to solve my problem by moving house, to a place with a huge shed, which is where my boxes of grey plastic are now stored

Oh, cool, i'd heard rumours there was going to be a second sprue but hadn't heard it had been offically announced

*sigh* so tempting. I've always wanted to dive head first int Legends of the Old West, but now that the books are OOP, I've long since given up the ghost on that. That and needing to make terrain that is pretty specific to this genre/historical geographical locale.

But...so tempting.

For what it's worth they mix well with Stargrave bits if you want to do Old West in Space.

I found the Japanese opening to Space Warrior Bismark and it is the most 80s thing ever filmed.




To keep on topic, in conclusion I don't think you can do a great Sabre Rider/Bismark force with Great Escape's gun fighters.

What I've found is that, while multipart kits obviously take more assembly time than monopose figures, they're better for "what you see is what you play" miniature gaming, as well as filling out your existing collection (eg. unarmed cowboys).

Some mini's I made, which I suspect are hard or uncommon to find: unarmed cowboy, cowboy with rope (the rope can be swapped with dynamite or other bits), western objective marker. IIRC, I made the heads swappable, so you can have a good guy or bad guy in a particular pose or loadout.

I'm really happy that there's going to be a female version. I've been using mine to build out my postapocalyptic gangs and right now, the gender balance is a bit off.

I quite like the first set so keen to get the second one as well.

If GEG can get these into Northstar's hands in time for the female crew / Last Prospector pre-order window I expect these will sell VERY well!

I am super excited to make a Quick and the Dead themed set..... who doesn't want a Sharon Stone gunfighter in their gang?

I might finally get into Fistful of Lead, Dead Man's Hand, Legend of the Old West, Gunfighter's Ball, Dracula's America, Shoot and Skedaddle, etc. There are a lot of great "Western" themed games on the market right now!

The male and female sprue have more heads than bodies, so I guess you can use the heads for swaps on other plastic models?

I've used the bits left over from the gunfighter kit on my wild west themed Ash Waste Regulators(enforcers) and Outland scum.

Really looking forward to the lady gunslingers and hope they have some civilians/townsfolk for my Tombstone diorama I originally got the fighters for.

I totally forgot that Peter Cullen (Optumis Prime) voiced their giant robot.




In my head canon Ramrod is just a rebuilt Optumis Prime after Transformers the Movie.

I'm glad it wasn't just me who saw those pictures and thought you used the extra heads to model a terrain piece of some guys taking a bath together in a barrel.
