No there's rumours Yarrick has actually died now too.

Looking at those Shock Troopers I would say the horsey man makes no difference whatsoever.

Because those Shock Troopers look like a silly mess of styles and themes anyway with so many nonsensical bits I can hardly bother to count, so a guy on a horse wouldn't stick out at all. Heck, you can probably keep its reveal paintjob too, so it can hide better among the Cadians with its pastel colors.

This character AND the model just screams to me that someone in Development finally succeeded in selling their Macharius 2.0 fanfiction to someone in Marketing, because they didn't like how he died in the books...

210% not a fan of this move... Why couldn't we get:

Ciaphas Cain (last story had him defending a planet in 999 M.41)
Warmaster Macaroth (Sabbat Worlds Crusade)
A bunch of smaller, lesser fame characters from each of the major Regiments - we got Strakken/Marbo and Creed's daughter for the Catachans and Cadia respectively...
Why not something for Mordia, Tallarn, Vostroya, Valhalla, and the others?
Hell, there still isn't a named character for the Militarum Tempestus, and sometimes they get their own Codex...
