I have all ready seen the "It's Webbing Time" memes for this. I'm torn if it is just a lazy re-tread of the old Morbius meme, or a brilliant metacommentary on how Sony approaches these spider-verse films.

Either way, it’s a lot safer than taglining a film about an older woman who kidnaps three teenage girls and brings them to a woods shanty with “It’s Madameing Time!”
Honestly I knew nothing about the character and the trailer looked fun. I was tempted to see it way more than say Morbius. That said after finding out that basically the best parts ARE the trailer from people I know that have seen it. I can wait for streaming.

They released it at the perfect time, as there is almost no other movies out right now. Therefore, it has been at my theatre for way longer than it should be. They are maximizing the window of opportunity for people to see it.
Too bad no one is.
