It's a good idea, but it's quite a stretch goal, given how many basic units still need to be plasticised. There was a rumour that GW do intend to do some more legion-specific kits "in the future", so maybe you'll get your wish. I would quite like some legion-specific upgrade sets, like the ones they do for WH40k Marines.

We have 4 plastic legion characters right now, they could do some more, maybe as black library tie in models. Give each legion a character who doesn't already have rules/kit. Characters like Thiel, Zaharael, Dantioch, Yesugi, Sharrowkin, Kaesoron, Zso Sahaal, Grulgor, Sheed Ranko

Yeah, I very much doubt we'd ever get them all at once, but if when they are focusing on a specific engagement or battle they could do a release for those armies at that time to tie in. For example, if they ever wanted to Calth this edition, we could get the Suzerians and the Ashen Circle. Stuff like that, there are plenty of vs situations this could support.

Latest reveals had a video interview, and the intention to do Legion Specific units in plastic was confirmed.

Yes, but a few years out, as there is still a lot of core stuff to cover.

I'm happy to hear this. The question is which ones will we get. As a fist player phalanx warders and templare brethren seem like easy upgrade kits for the mk3/6 marine kits. And given the love the fists have been getting the chances of getting both seems good.
But I'd still prefer other generic kits first, such as breachers and destroyers.

it's the quiet ones you have to look out for. Their the ones that change the world, the loud ones just take the credit for it. |

I'd be interested to see if Legion upgrades were made a thing.

I could go a set of Dark Angel fancy Dan Plasma Flamer things. Can only get them from the resin unit at present, outside of bitz makers.

There's been no solid news of new Heresy kits for quite a while. The recent Mechanicum releases don't count. In fact, there hasn't been much new for WH40k either. I wonder what's going on?

New edition of Sigmar ate up a lot of summer bandwidth, holiday season is coming up, and a few light weeks of mto or single major releases are likely to alleviate the supply crunch gw has been having.
Surprised we haven't gotten a few more resin models though, they would be pretty easy to do and fill in gaps like missing praetors and various consul options.
