You just need to make sure the versions match.

The Dakka server is still 1.1, so if you're trying to connect to that, just go to your Minecraft client options and click "Force Update". This should remove any snapshot release you've installed and restore the current 1.1 version.

Word of warning though, this will delete all your mods.

If Sky posts, then yes, I think it works. Arnieth did something similar so I came on and vouched for him.

Yeah, it's annoying as hell when a bunch of people that don't actually post are invited by a guy and they use the server as their own private one.

I haven't decided on a specific number, but it is more than one. We just had a certain person who seemed to be vouching everyone he knew and it got a bit out of hand... :-)

Basically the more people you vouch for, the more risk you take on, as if any single one of them griefs, you get banned too.

Question: Is the server running Survival Mode?

Tried connecting but it wouldn't work, I presume that's 'cos I was using my University's wireless connection at the library (it blocks all sorts, Steam included).

Will have to try on a wired connection
