If the big new knight only has to pay 100 points for its weapons, then there had better be massive points reductions in alll the weapons.

But, an assault cannon deduction of 20 points is not a good sign. That’s still a 421 point Warden. Give me the Stubber and flamer for free, and we hit my magic number of 400.

I'm liking the look.
Just a couple of things:

Does it have 3 legs or 4?
I can only see 2 but with those angles it doesn't look stable.

I'd want a different head.
Something like an appropriately sized medieval knight helmet.

Something like this

All four legs. Pure spider tank.

Blood Angels, Custodes, Tzeentch, Alpha Legion, Astra Militarum, Deathwatch, Thousand Sons, Imperial Knights, Tau, Genestealer Cult.

I have a problem.

Being contrary for the sake of being contrary doesn't make you unique, it makes you annoying.

Hopefully next week. I know they said AoS2 in June, but they didn’t say when in June. I’m hoping it’s preceded by a couple of weeks of Kinight releases.

One can hope, that statement would indicate they're out within the month but I lost some hope when this weeks preorder turned out to be a complete dud.

Just seems strange it wasn't this week. One would assume the coming month or two are gonna be pretty hectic and the knights are rumoured to be released over two weeks so why would they waste this week by releasing basically nothing?

Two battle tomes and a new AoS starter box could fit into the back half of June, with most of the actual model releases for the two armies taking up July. So fingers and toes crossed.

Don't tell me how to manipulate my own digits.
No but seriously, I hope that's true. I'm not interested enough in AoS to know if that's a realistic assumption but one can hope

Is it possible they will have knights releasing along side aos?

Its possible there could be some pre order overlap, especially if the new starter box and core book for AoS have an extended pre order period.

The knights have been rumoured to be the first-second week of June. There's not that many new models being released for them either. They could do a 1-2 week release of the models and then release AoS 2.0 the last week of June.

Yeah, what are we looking at:

Codex
Cards
Big Castellan double box
Little Armiger double box
Named character: full bow or add-on
Possible Renegade re-release.

That’s 1-2 weeks.

The armiger release box I expect to just be tacked on to the codex and card without taking up a "new release" slot. It's not new it's just a separate release of an existing model. They've put things in like that before.

Armiger will most likely have a new sprue included though, with a new weapon option and hopefully, non-Mechanicus aligned armour plating.

I believe the news for Renegade Knights is, No.

No rules for chaos knights, renegades, etc. Imperial Freeblades sure, everything else no.

Renegade the game, rather than Renegade options.

I wouldn't expect much for renegades but there's some hope. When the admech codex was released the stats of the thermal cannon were changed, those changes were applied everywhere. So renegade knights might just get a FAQ entry in the chaos section when the Imperial Knight codex releases. I highly doubt they'll be included in the codex in any way

If they're not in the book then I can foresee a pdf for a chaos knight much as we have now, with none of the new entries. It would effectively remove the need for the chaos index then.

Could live with that, but I honestly can't see why they wouldn't just have it in the codex and allow the keyword change - would sell them a lot more books!

I'd be happy with a PDF, or an FAQ. As long as they acknowledge they need updated with the imperial stuff at the same time, I'm happy.
