Hey guys, im going to show my WIP Nurgle themed Daemon Army....
this project has taken quite a while to get to this stage, and it is no where near complete, but hopefully with this blog i will give myself the motivation i need to complete it!

so lets get started...

first off is the first unit i completed for the army which are Flamers of Tzeentch..

i will be uploading more and more photos as i go along, usually with one unit at a time!

although these guys are complete, a lot of the work i will be putting up with still be in the 1st few stages of work, and without paint of them!
but by the end of the blog there will be a fully painted/fully converted army! =] =]

I have both but have been a little afraid to experiment with I just yet.

I have a bastion I wan to make rusty and corroded.

Just apply the rust as if it were a dry brush and it will work wonders! =] =]

Really liking this project of yours.
I've sometimes though about how it would be cool to do an entirely God-specific Daemon army.
The Flamers are awesome. I really like your choice of aesthetic and how you've carried it out over the other models.
The Furies also look good though you've made them look a lot tougher than I'd imagine Furies to be. I think it's the swords.
Your plague hulk is impressive and I can imagine nurgle would have had fun infesting and mutating that poor Haruspex. I only wish it fit more with the cool theme you have going on.
Screamers are looking great so far! I hope to see plenty of grime and filth on those tentacles

thank you for the kind words.... i 100% agree with you about the plague hulk... im thinking i might model a new one so as it does fit with the army!, and keep the one i have now just as a display piece or something ....

haha yeah the furies do look pretty tough, though i kind of imagined them being tougher than they actually are.... maybe it is the swords, but tbh im scared to cut the sword incase it ruins the look....

as for the grime and filth.... dont you worry, there ill be plenty of that throughout the whole army! haha! =] =]

Maybe you could (if you were so inclined) remove the swords at their wrists and replace their hands with large(ish) claws. This way you could mix it up a bit too with what claw(s) they have. I don't think it would even be a big deal if you only replaced one hand on each model since they are daemons after all.

+OR+

just cut the swords down into little rusty-killy knives

Just some ideas

My mind is always a-go with different ideas so I sometimes have to resist taking too much interest in someone else's project lest I become overly involved

yeah im not too sure about the swords being there and was trying to think of what i could replace them with, i love the idea of a different claw.... would give them a more feral look i think.... thank you sir! =]
and yeah my head is always coming up with ideas, and i too am like you, i dont like to say too much as i will get overly involved and people will end up hating me haha!....
but no i love when folk give me ideas, gives me more to work with also! so i thank you good sir!

Looking really good, and very unique. Using bloodletter heads sans face gives it a giger-esque feel. Like demon xenomorphs.

Every now and then I think about this thread and the conversions within, glad to know it's not dead.
It's certainly inspiring to me, and if I ever start up a daemon army I'll probably come back here for ideas

aww thank you! =] =] its a great feeling knowing that i have finished them *for now*

though i am going to start on a new centerpiece model that will never see the table as its not games workshop related
but it will look insane once its finished! i will also post photos of this as its gonna be a crazy daemon dinosaur haha!
the all purpose filler is coming out later and i will be adding lots over the whole model to give it a lovely nurgle look!
