Tau vs. Eldar

Who is better than who? That would be up to you!
Give your reasons and explain why!
I Know it depends on what list, but look beyond that and make your verdict!

I love Tau. Because I love suits.

I love Eldar. Because I love Wriath Constructs.

But, on the table, Eldar are dominant. Tau were good in 6th, Eldar were better. In 7th, Tau took major hits, Eldar will still dominate. And it is due to the Wave Serpent.

Eldar are a race of decadent sophisticates whose minds are so powerful they have to have an entire society based around helping them deal with their tendency to become obsessed with perfection.

Tau are a bunch of upstart communists who pretend to be your friend so they can take you over.

Eldar win.

To wound enemy units, see them driven from the table, and hear the lamentations of their player.

Tau have a very clear army theme, and a very clear tactical direction.

Eldar just seem so scattered. You got a little 'meh' shooting over here, some iffy melee over there, and some Wraith-y stuff. The army seems to lack focus to me. I always find myself paging through the codex and wondering, "how do you win with this army?" to myself. (Other than Wave Serpent spam...)

Eldar.

Because they have the shooting power of the Tau, the survivability of the Tau, AND the close combat prowess the Tau utterly lack, complimented by similar, if not slightly better mobility.

Oh and psykers. Lots of them.

GW is scared of girls. Why do you think they have so much trouble sculpting attractive female models? Because girls have cooties and the staff at GW don't like looking at them for too long because it makes them feel funny in their naughty place.
