I recently bought a knight lancer from FW, and I have never built a resin model this large before. So my question to all of you 30k and titan owners how do you build these? Multiple pins or some sort of greenstuff super glue hybrid to bond it. So what is the best way to make these big guys?

CA glue will be fine for most of it. Where there is a join with a load on it, or perhaps you anticipate it needing reinforcement, then is the time to pin.

Resin isn't too heavy unless it is in large chunks, so it doesn't need pinning extensively like metal does.

I favour Vallejo plastic putty over GS for any small joins, but given the slightly erratic nature of FW quality control, you might end up with some gaps that need filling with GS first, but because plastic putty is sandable, I recommend a layer over the top, them sanded back to render any joints as invisible as possible.

Another potentially dumb question but what is CA glue?

Pin it and use sothing flexible like JB weld to bond it. Superglue sets rock solid, so if you plan to use the models and move them around you risk the superglue cracking. some parts may be difficult to pin before it is bonded, like knee joints where you might drill the hole for the pins in at the wrong angle etc. When I do my Titans especially the revenants and Phantoms, I glue those parts first, tape, vices, claps etc to hold it in the right position. Then when the JB weld is set, I wil drill through the joint, coat the pin in JB weld and insert it. Then I fill the hole I made with fIne Milliput.

Now I have never done anything like this before. Is there a handy guide for this or should I try something else?
