Yup.

They may get plastic models at some point in the future but I wouldn't count on it. The metal models were pulled from the webstore a week or two before the new plastic stormies were released. With new plastics superceding them they will not be rereleased.

You can find them on ebay and I'm sure if you're patient you could find some in the Swap Shop forum.

But why GW dIdn't included them in the new codex ? Like something between vets and stormies ? *sigh* But kasrkin are very iconic of the Guard . Yeah I am going to look somewhere else to get them.

Kasrkin are iconic not of "the Guard" but rather they are iconic of Cadia.

Oh yeah forgot about that ^^

And furthermore, stormtroopers already took a giant step towards veterans in this codex. There isn't a whole lot of difference between them anymore - I can't imagine what a mid-point would look like. It would be like an intermediary unit between guardsmen and conscripts.

Anyways, they made untold thousands of metal kasrkin, no doubt they will be available on eBay for some time to come.

It is the same unit just different names due to some of them hailing from Cadia, and the latter of course part of the AM trademark piglatin nomenclature.

As for the models, yes, they've gone the way of the dodo - there wont be a plastic or finecast sculpt of them, but hey this is why we have ebay, right?

Stormtroopers, Kasrkin, and Scions are not necessarily the same.

Well, Kasrkin are strictly related to Cadia, so they might return with a supplement, but as it is now they can basically be used as Scions.

In game terms they are. They all have carapace armor, hellguns/hot shot lasguns, and veteran Guard statlines.
