Look at the Space Marine Strike Force Ultra for 245 €. Its already a decent army.

It is unbound , so as legal as FW armies. Here it costs 1000zl which is about half what an adult person earns in a month. If this was the only way to buy models , other then special characters, then there would be a lot more people starting to play with Infinity or Warmahordes.

Agreed. The idea of GW dropping individual kit sales would 100% kill them as a company.
That being said, they could bring back battleforces.

I criticise GW for their prices, but the bundles do give decent value from a discounter in a country that doesn't suffer from regional pricing. I started a Blood Ravens army with 3 SM Strike Forces, to which I'm adding (it should be shipped any day) 3x SM Strike Force Ultras. I'll probably resell 20-40 of the termies and the 3 dreads(at a profit due to Aussie pricing) but the bundle discount (30%) + discounter discount (25-30%) adds up to some decent value for once. However, I did also buy some individual, overpriced kits such as Vets, Death Company, Sang Guard and Devs to go with it to spice things up. Those boxes really should get an across the board price drop, but overall given the value from the bundle it worked out acceptable overall for a large army. You're still looking at $6 per terminator (RRP $AU 14 each) which is definitely at the high end of acceptability and I likely wouldn't pay it if I couldn't resell most to cover some of the cost. Land Raider Crusaders, a large tank for $44 ($AU110 each) is very competitive imo. Likewise with the Storm Raven and Ven Dread. The entire basic SM Strike Force was good value imo with everything being very useful - $23 for 10 new tac marines is cheaper than recasts, and it's a very nice kit. There's no need to stop selling non-bundles, just decrease their price.

"Mommy, mommy, can I have some money to start playing Warhammer 40,000? I need $85 for the rules, $50 for some more rules, $45 for some paints and $1,000 for some models. Mommy, pls!"
It might hurt recruitment.
Also, I'm not about to drop hundreds of bucks when all I need is a Tactical Squad.

GW should sell bundles and individual unit boxes.
Bundles if discounted in some way offer the new player a good entry to the game.
Single units are essential for non-beginners to build up their forces gradually with the specific units they want.
