I have 5 marines unassembled and waiting for purpose. Any suggestion on what I should do with them?
Should they all be heroes? should they be a command squad, chosen or foot assault? I don't have any special weapons just shields, power weapons, thunder hammers, power fists, plasma pistols and storm bolters. I also have alot of bolters, bolt pistols and chainswords. I need emz suggestionez.

Assuming you already have a SM army to put them in, then I'd go with alternative special/heavy weapons, or make a few alternative sergeant/character options.

If you get some meltas to go on those, you can make them a drop pod command squad.

Then it looks like various ranks of characters would be the order of the day. A couple of sarges, a Captain and maybe a Librarian or Chaplain if you're feeling up to some conversion (See my Ultramarine gallery for a Librarian and Chaplain built from mostly Tactical squad bits).

I suppose you could put together a melee command squad if you've got enough CC weapons and extra bling.

But how would I convert a apothecary?

You don't need to take one, I don't think. You can just run 5 vets, or 4 and a champ and still have a legal squad. But if you do want to, then you should be able to find the bits on ebay fairly cheap or convert something if you're feeling up to it.

You are expected to think of a title that roughly tells everyone what the thread is about.

"HELP!" is as random as a title can be.

Example: "Need help: assembling Space Marines"

How long do you think it took me to type this entire post? Not long. Why would I spend extra time making the title complicated? doesn't make sense.

Because it would be common sense, that and investing in the proper typed language would also help people whom prefer proper English, and not internet languange.

Eventually you'll pick up a devastator box, sternguard or something, and will want the bodies for for the extra weapons.

If you have neither bitz nor plans for them, I'd just make them as regular dudes with bolters. You probably could use more of them.

If they're really that extra though, I'd actually make them into objectives. It seems like people never have any, and have to rely on tokens, despite how important they are to the game.

I'd get something to act as the plinth and mount them on top. Spray black, paint steel color, wash once with brown and twice with yellow. Add a little weathering and voila, instant brass statue. Or perhaps go with a copper color and that new turquise copper tarnish stuff GW makes.

Anyways, you'll finally have something worth fighting over if you don't already have some objectives made.

If you don't want to wait, painting them as sternguard works.

TBH, it really depends on what is in your SM force already. Give us a rundown of what you have so that we can best give you the info to fill any potential gaps.

Ok... I recently divided all my marine infantry into 5 man squads

1: Combi plasma, relic blade and plasma cannon
2: Plasma pistol, relic blade, plasma gun
3: Storm bolter, chainsword and missile launcher
4: Storm bolter, chainsword and plasma gun
5: Thousand suns
6: Power axe, bolt pistol and plasma gun
7: Deamon blade, plasma pistol and plasma gun
8: Chosen: 3 lightning claws and plasma pistol+2 melta guns and power fists
9: Lighning claw, plasma pistol and a pair of lighning claws
10: Plagued marines: power fist, flamer, plasma gun and melta gun
11: Heavy weapons squad: Storm bolter, Chainfist, 3 Lascannons, reaper autocannon
and last but defenatly not least 3 squads of noise marines

and that's not counting the scouts, bikes, jump packs or terminator armours I got...

OH! I also have one of each of these Techmarine, Librarian and Sorcerer.

what about a death companie assault squad? or maybe I should attempt a command squad?

I really want to make a command squad but I think it would be best to buy the box set for that one...
