So here is a battle in some ash wastes of a nearly barren planet against some Necron forces.

Battle Report here: http://theimperialpatrol.blogspot.co.nz/2014/06/7th-edition-maelstorm-battle.html

Was a fun game and I enjoyed how the mission cards forced our infantry closer and closer. There are definitely improvements that could be made but for the most part it was great fun and everybody enjoyed what the new missions brought to the game. Here are some cool pics of the match. Not nearly as great as my last battle in both pictures and battle but unfortunately not every battle can be a great one. Enjoy!

Great batrep.

I love the trooper with the Aussie hat in the command squad! He reminds me of the Natal Mounted Police trooper who remained at Rourke's Drift to advise Lt. Chard in the movie "Zulu." Very appropriate for a Praetorian list.

Thanks mate. I designed him after Crocodile Dundee to play as Marbo. But since Marbo is gone he is an adviser for the Company Commander (Officer of Fleet) because of the reason above.

Thanks for reading.

Another entertaining tilt. Tough match-up for you especially with how well the resurrection rolls were going though.

Becoming a must read feature for me.

Im really glad for that. Makes me wanna post more!

Unfortunately my Tankettes never arrived so I was without heavy weapons which certainly could have changed the course of that battle. But he almost always has amazing Resurrection rolls.

For example, back when I did eldar it was my HQ and his HQ left (with like 1 necron warrior) and he passed his reanimation every turn for 7 turns (game went for like 11 turns haha) until my Autarch couldnt take anymore and died. Its crazy!

Thanks for that! I'll let him know someone complimented his army. He was on the fence about repainting them haha.

Great Batrep! I really enjoyed your themed army. It got me thinking of the movie BraveHeart.

Thanks mate. You confused me with the Brave Heart reference! Then I remembered the Scotts haha.

Cheers for reading
