Since having pored over my new Ork codex I have been working out how I wanted to build my HQ choices, having settled on having atleast one Mega Armoured Warboss, for my largely Mek themed Freeboota force I only really had Ghaz as a stock model option and he just doesnt look right to me. Having been scouring Ebay I won two auctions for the old Forgeworld event only Runtbot model, and set to work converting one up to be a Waaagh Bot.

A bit of background:
Da Grand Despot an' Green Despoila Grotsnappa Rusttoof was a boss obsessed with Mekaniks, lacking the shrewed cunnin' of his Mek entourage he sought to augment his green might with every Bionik going. Seizing on this opportunity one of the Big Meks in his force became his personal attendant, engineering increasingly elaborate Mekaniks to drive the Boss's obsession on further. Decade on there is little of the boss left, all that remains is the Fearsome Waaaghbot, to Da Boyz this is enough, a fearsome figurehead capable of krumping many a foe. To the Mek this is now the ultimate puppet.

The codex says you can only have one of each relic per army - I don't see any restrictions per model.

Yeah... I noticed the whole "can take one of the following" bits after reading that post. Still its always nice to have options!

I really like the pose on him, does look good, have you thoug about magnetising the arms?
you could use 8x1mm magnets with 1mm metal pins to hold.

I had debated on it, this is my "I want to build it now!!!" Waaaghbot, number two will be a magnetised, fully swappable Mekbot with options on KFF, Teleporta and relics etc. Couldnt resist assembling him immediately.

I am like that sometimes too lol! Still nice pose
