Well I've just picked this up recently and clocked it yesterday - I thought it was short but for a 3rd person shoot em up I thought it was great. What are your thoughts???

I played it through with my wife, perhaps the only thing warhammer she could enjoy. I liked it, quick and easy!

It was quite a lot of action like arcade style. Nothing beats space marine though in my opinion. Hopefully they will release another episode.

Space Marine is FAR superior. But when I went to visit my cousins with my brothers, we LOVED that game in Co-op.
We were cheering when my brother's Vanguard Vet came back to life just at my cousin's Sternguard Vet died meaning we didn't get reset on the level.
All in all, I like it. I would only want to play it with a Xbox controller as mouse and keyboard feels awkward after having played 20 odd hours with a Xbox controller

Kill Team was a fun arcade romp.
Space Marine was a nicely produced game but proved dull and repetitive as it progressed.
It also helped kill THQ so I don't think you will see anything resembling a sequel.

Nothing killed THQ other than their terrible business practices. How could you have exclusive licenses with UFC, WWE, and 40k along with IPs such as Company of Heroes, Saint's Row and Darksiders and somehow manage to screw it up?
On Killteam, it was decent fun as far as time wasters go but I had already played it a few years ago. Sega's re-release wasn't worth revisiting.

It was just good fun while it lasted but totally different to what space marine was trying to accomplish.
I agree thq killed themselves for a number of bad moves business wise - let's hope a better co takes the 40k license and does something better

Had a blast, lol, when playing with the wife. She REALLY liked it, but she starts to drool on herself when I start talking 40k, so this was a pretty cool little gem.

I played this a lot on Xbox a few years ago (and since). I do love twin-stick shooters, and it's very good for what it is - a glorified Dawn of War 2 mod serving as an advertisement for Space Marine. It's a pity they never made more, or ever added online multiplayer.
Also, the Sternguard Veteran is completely overpowered.
