Let him growl and bark, let him run out and bite them. He focuses their aggro and you can take well-placed shots, that's the way I play anyways. I usually just use conventinal weapons most of the time.

shaso... yep... i am most eager to see more outdoor fun... somehow that is much more interesting to me than all these close quarter fights were a burst is all you need... i am more a fine placed shot kinda guy anyway^^ so long ranged fights suits me more^^

i currently purged the chineese stray soldiers in that food factory... after that i finally got me the dogmeat dog... but i got to say... it is way creepier now the game as i have him barking and huffing around all the time... on numerous occasions one bark had nearly shoot him... i must contain myself...^^
For going underground, the combat shotgun/flamer, and 10mm SMG works a piece! Same with the AK's Liking experimentation, getting Gen. Jingway's "Powersword" is good for some of that super close fighting as your pip-boy plays Galaxy Radio's "Butcher Pete"
Yeah, and he does occassionally get in the way while going places.

ah... ok... i was just selling loot at megaton and imidiatly went to the vault... but no doggy there... so then i try again...
and i have talked to him a bit... and it seems he can track down amo, food and other stuff...very useful companion...
by the way... wtf...the talon crew is hunting my backside...well they tried... now the are pushing up the daisies^^

for a good and final headshot the 44er is very nice... and well the sniper gun is one with a nice punch too^^

Yeah Dogmeat has other uses.
Oh, as you get good karma, the Talon got hired by somebody to get you, on the Talon merc squad leader, you will find a bounty note talking about your character, it will even have the name you chose in the notes. Motivation: 1000caps for your head

ah ok... i have recently get to understand that killing off good peeps gives not as much ep as killing off bad peeps... killed brahmins and a robot... they gave me not much in the ep department... well of course they are not to be considered very tough targets to begin with...^^
well i am a person known to change my minds all of a sudden in a game... might just meet theese on unfriendly terms too...^^
Well, until then, it is better to have Talon after you as until you can use Powered Armor, combat armor is very nice, and with so many Talons after you, you have plenty of repair pieces to make yours at 100%! Plus spares for the weapons too!

After main quest is finished and the water is being distributed you cannot give water t beggers, so plan accordingly.....

me now too... i always had the hots for redheads... and her skimpy outfit... well...well...just generaly well
the vid was very good... it always amazes me how much energy some fans can put into such projects! if the post apocalyptic world has buddies and sidekicks like these...well it is not too shabby to be alive then...^^
