Game 1 vs Nidzilla
Enemy list:
3 Dakkafexes (1 brood)
1 Tervigon
3 squads of 10-12 Termagaunts
1 Flyrant with Devourers

My Warlord Trait for this game was Voice of Command for the Lord Commissar. The deployment for this game was Hammer and Anvil. The way the mission worked was that you (secretly) chose three units in your opponent's list that were over 100pts. The most expensive of these three was worth 5VP to kill, the other two 3VP. Everything else was worth 1VP each.

My opponent knew this ahead of time and intentionally packed all three Carnifexes into a single Hvy support brood, so he was able to control which of his units I would be going for. He chooses two of my Veteran squads and the Avenger, which set the Avenger as his primary target.

The table has some hills/craters on either side of the board, but it was really sparse in the center. Crappy table, IMHO.

He deploys and goes first.

Turn 1:
Flyrant swoops out ahead of his army, while the rest starts rumbling up. The dakkafexes take some long shots, but they bounce off of my Chimera armor. His Tervigon casts Catalyst on the dakkafex brood, while the Flyrant tries to Warp Lance my Russ, but misses the shot.

I keep my three transports packed together, keeping AV12 towards the 'fexes. There is actually a little piece of terrain in the center of the table that I can cover one of my Chimeras with, as I slowly fade back on the table.
I score a lucky wound the Flyrant with the punisher (spray 'n pray), which does not ground it. Most of my shooting goes at the Flyrant, but I do spare some lasgun array fire at a couple termagaunts, smearing one. Another foul Xenos dead, victory for the Imperium!

Turn 2:
The Flyrant vector strikes the russ for no damage, putting it in the center of my army. It then Perils and rolls up the supercharge. "Assuming Direct Control!"
'Fexes shuffle up with the Tervigon and gaunts. One of the dakkafexes glances a Chimera, stripping a HP. Catalyst goes up again.

Avenger comes in, does nothing (shot at the Fexes, what I did wound they passed their FnP). This is normal for my Imperial Navy pilots. Squad Hrist exits their tank to bring more fire upon the Flyrant. Under orders, they spray the Flyrant with all the flashlights, plasma and melta. Between that and the multilasers, I manage to shoot the Flyrant out of the sky. One down, 4 more MCs to go... The Punisher sweeps over the gaunts, killing a few.

Turn 3:
Fexes advance and continue to hose down Chimeras, but cover + netting saves the day. He brings the Tervigon behind the dakkafexes and spawns more gaunts, which runs it out on the first roll.

Time to get to business! I set up a flanking maneuver with my tanks, and bail out all the infantry. I order Split Fire on a squad to flame some gaunts (stripping a cover save) and score a couple wounds on the Fexes (which were making EVERY FnP roll). The Avenger, however, boldly flies towards the Tervigon and lets loose with its lascannons and bolt cannon, scoring 5 wounds! Lucky follow-on fire finishes off the Tervigon, which chain-reacts into the gaunts nearby. That's two. I finish off one of the gaunt squads with lasgun fire.

Turn 4:
Two of his gaunt squads fall to Instinctive Behavior, one lurking and the other falling back. His dakkafexes bring my Avenger down in a storm of brainleech worms. I take a brief moment to mourn the loss of the Avenger, but he got something done and the pilot may have survived. No more Catalyst, thankfully. The dakkafexes cycle to bring the unwounded 'fexes forward and protect the wounded one.

I get more aggressive, pouring on fire into the trio. Between all of the plasma, melta, flamer, gatling, and las hits, I manage to kill 2 fexes and bring the last one down to 1W. Not much there.

Turn 5:

Lucky! The Carnifex fails its Instinctive Behaviour roll and is forced to charge a Chimera instead of the squad he wanted to hit. A gaunt squad shuffles forward, sprays Hrist, and then charges them. I take some losses against the Xenos, but hold due to the commanding presence of Commissar-Lord Lawfer. The Chimera is a write-off, but such is life.

Squad Lucian finishes off the distracted Carnifex and the punisher guns down the last unengaged remaining squad of Termagaunts. Lawfer and Squad Silmeria rush the last remaining Xenos unit, Termagaunts engaged with Squad Hrist.

I lose a couple more men (and women) to claws in Hrist, but they fight valiantly and with support from Lucian, exterminate the foul Xenos. Lawfer smites three with his Power Axe personally.

Victory for the Imperium, Glory to the Emperor.

This could have gone either way for me based on the dice, but I did have enough firepower to bring the 'fexes down. He was more intent on shooting than assault, which probably didn't help him.

Game 2 vs Dark Eldar 90% Drop Duke in Raiders
3x Ravagers w/Nightshields
3x Raiders w/Splinter Trueborn
Duke.

My Warlord Trait for this game was Voice of Command.
The table is a *very* densely packed city board, with lots of ruins cover save for both of us (rendering Jink superfluous). We get Vanguard Strike as the deployment. The mission is a straightforward objective-camping mission, with one of the objectives randomly becoming worth 3 points and the others worth 1. The "weirdness" for our mission was a non-issue as it only affected Psykers and neither of us brought any. I lose the roll-off and the Dark Eldar go first. He has all but 1 Ravager in reserves, hiding.

Turn 1:
The Ravager pops around a corner to try to take shots at a Chimera. No telling damage.

I split my forces, making for three of the objectives (one of them the High Value objective). I trade fire with the Ravagers with one Chimera, while the other two pop smoke (to cover my bases in case of opportunistic Raiders/Ravagers).

Turn 2:

Most of his army arrives, sans a Ravager and the Duke's escort of Trueborn. One of the squads lands in difficult terrain and the motivator on their Raider breaks down. Everything else arrives safely and starts taking potshots at my Chimeras. No damage, mostly thanks to the dense terrain and camo netting (go go 3+). He, however, rarely needs to Jink for the same reason.

My Avenger arrives, potshots a Raider and doesn't do much. Two of my Chimeras immobilize themselves on the rough terrain (oops), but they're both on objectives. I take out the immobilized Raider, blowing it up. The Trueborn break and run for their table edge.

Turn 3:

Trueborn reform. A heavy flamer is shot off of a Chimera. Squad Lucian makes for a fourth objective marker in building ruins nearby to the one their tank is sitting on.

Avenger flies off the table.

Turn 4:

Duke arrives automatically. He repositions a raider to start going after Squad Lucian. Duke's ride ends up on the roof of a building. No appreciable damage to my Chimeras or the Russ (not for lack of trying).

The Punisher wrecks a Raider, spilling its contents of Trueborn out. They splinterrifle Lucian, killing a few men. Squad Lucian holds, however.

Avenger returns, lining up shots on a Ravager again. No real effect, although he Jinks to get out of the way.

Turn 5:

The Dark Eldar try to line up every shot they can onto my Chimera and squad, but still cannot destroy it (a couple wounded in the squad it was transported, Hrist). The trueborn keep advancing towards squad Lucian. This include Duke's ride, landing in front of an immobilized Chimera camping the high value objective.

Squad Silmeria makes for another objective, while the Avenger diverts to deal with the Trueborn.

Hrist's transport, which was camping the high value objective, scores a glance on Duke's Raider with a Heavy Flamer. Duke happens to take the first licks of flame on his Shadowfield... which promptly shorted out. Squad Hrist then lit the transport up again with a heavy flamer and meltagun, slagging it. No survivors from the Raider.
Meanwhile Squad Lucian's heavy flamer catches the encroaching squad of Trueborn with his heavy flamer, roasting all of them alive. Good day to be a Vet.

Game end on Turn 5, Major Victory for the Imperium.

This game, I feel, was won on a combination of my opponent failing to make good hits with dark lances and that there was terrain EVERYWHERE and I was able to capitalize on it. If I had to, I could have charged the Ravagers and destroyed them with krak grenades.

Game 3 vs Eldar Dire Avenger Serpent Spam + Fire Prism + rangers + dual farseers
My Warlord Trait for this game was Draconian Disciplinarian. Another bare(ish) table. Joy. There's a couple hills and a two small copses of trees. Dawn of War deployment. My opponent deploys first again (I won the rolloff and gave him the deployment). He infiltrates a squad of Rangers in my deployment zone in a table corner. I deploy my army relatively tightly, leaving one Chimera to flank.

This mission was based on area control, and happened to be night for the first turn. The table was divided into four quarters, and you scored for having a scoring unit entirely in the corner and no enemy units entirely in the same corner.

Turn 1:

Two wave serpents and a Fire prism. Joy. They shuffle around, and the Fire Prism takes a shot but misses. Both Wave Serpents try to kill the Russ, but fail.

I move all three Chimeras up and shift the Russ, intent on moving the Punisher to roast the Rangers and fill them with lead.

Turn 2:

One lucky hit from the Fire Prism immobilizes my Russ. It's still in range of the Rangers, but nothing else.
Serpent Shield shakes a Chimera. Avenger comes in and bounces rounds off a Wave Serpent.

...
...
...

There wasn't much to this game. What happened with this game was that I was able to keep all of his skimmers Jinking, which was wrecking his ability to shoot. He didn't leave his transports until he was shot out of them. The Fire Prism didn't hit anything else for the rest of the game, and the Rangers were eventually shot up by the Russ. I melted both transports, flanked the squads inside and set them on fire.

The Avenger did get shot down with sustained fire from Dire Avengers.

Game end on Turn 5: Minor Victory for the Imperium

All in all, a really good showing for this army and an overall tournament win!

Well, there's a slight risk of gluing something together with it. Only slight, mind.
