Hey all I wanted to make a Knight house of my own the go along with my DKoK army, so I decided to use the same wintery urban camo colors for the main theme with burgundy for the house colors and bright steel edges. This was also my first time trying to model a base and I admit I am not the greatest at it, but any helpful tips on how to make it better would be awesome.

That's a very interesting camo scheme. I like the base; the wall with the barbed wire and skeleton is cool, and the two Guardsmen are a really nice detail.

By the way, the pictures look a little washed out; increasing the contrast a little might make them look a bit better.

I would say for your first go it is very good. You should never expect to be the best first time but never criticise yourself too hard.

I'd apply just a bit of modelling sand between the trenchline and the base, just to make the transition a bit smoother.

For the rest, I really like both the paint job and the creativity of the base

1400 points of EW/MW Italians (FoW)
2200 points of SoB and Inquisition (40K)
1000 points of orks (40K)
Just starting out with Ultramarines (30K)
Four 1000-2500 point forces for WHFB (RIP)
One orc team (Blood Bowl)

I like it, looks ready for war and mayhem. And the two guardsmen are a good addition, it lends more life and a flare of uniq to the model

Thanks for the kind words everyone. I plan on adding more texture paint to fill up that hole soon

Looks good, would love to see this next to the other titan lol

The wolves go for the throat.
We go for the eyes.

Then the hands.
Then the feet

Looks good, and creative with the base, which is nice. Like the DKoK dude.

Some CC:
1. You need to work on your freehand. It all looks very shaky. The Roman Numeral "V" on the shield in particular, due to it's size and prominence. Decals, applied correctly, look much better than bad freehand.
2. Paint the pilot canopy glass?
3. The seam on the battle cannon is noticeable. It's very easy to file this one away during model prep. The same goes for the leg hip joints.
4. An oil wash on the metal filigree would go a long way.
5. The various colors on the model's tubing don't do it for me. It sounds funny to say it, but green and purple tubing doesn't look...realistic?
6. The basing piece has been mentioned, but there's some stray sand/texture bits on the actual edges. Looks sloppy. Painting the edge a color different than the horizontal plane of the base also gives a nice contrast. I'd suggest black.

Keep it up; I love the knight models (building #9 and #10 now, with a Castigator on the way), and enjoy seeing what people do with them.
