Hi folks!
It`s my non-canonical version of Deathwing.
On traditional color scheme it was hard to play around achromatic white armor with also achromatic NMM details,
so I have added ochre and greenish hues to divide elements visually and to make them more attractive.

You can vote on CMON for this project - http://www.coolminiornot.com/360794

Best,

Absolutely fantastic! Some of the best marines I've seen, superb shading.

Can't wait to see more of your stuff.

Superb! Is the blending done with glazes?

Thanks!

To LutherMax> Mainly its wet blending on black-white airbrushed gradient (Its the fastest method , which gives good result, but requires some practice with brush)
After wet-blending there is some yellow and green glazes, yes. Glazes give more smoothness and interesting hues.

For better understanding - one terminator requires about 12 hours:
~1,5 hours - assemble and basing
~1 hour - airbrushing gradient with primers
~9-10hours simple brush (mainly 000 and 00000 size, neylon)

Wow!! I'm just a hack painter but those are some of the most striking minis that I have ever seen. I'd ask for you to do a tutorial but I think it would take more talent to accomplish than one could pick up from watching. But thanks for sharing those pics.

I'm not especially fond of your choice in color. It looks more Raptor green to me than anything DA related. But even so, there's absolutely no denying that you executed it well

Those are amazing and transitions are really smooth. Only suggestion I would have is that eagle symbol on their chest could be red or white just to brake up a little more the color scheme .

Got milk?

All I can say about painting is that VMC tastes much better than VMA... especially black...

PM me if you are interested in Commission work.
