Afternoon all. Have made the jump to fantasy from 40k and I have chosen lizardmen. Now I have a 1k list which has a level 2 skink priest,a saurus bsb,2 units of 15 saurus warriors,18 skinks with javelins, 10 temple guard and 5 chameleon skinks.
Im aiming in the direction of a slann/scar vet on carnosaur duo with tettoekko and a couple of skinks as backup.
Im after advice on scar vet and slann builds for taking on high elves, skaven, chaos daemons, beastmen, orcs and gobbos. And other general advice too.
I wanna include a coyple of stegs, a troglodon too.
Any advice I will gladly take. Many thanks in advance

First of all if your running a carno I prefer Sacred steg helm light armor great weapon. He needs threat saturation to help him as carnos tend to get killed quickly. Also the swiftstride upgrade is necessary get it. You want him in combat swiftstride helps

Slanns depend on what you want him to do. A defensive minded slann can carry as little as becalming cogitation and cube of darkness. Other combos include channeling staff and harmonic convergance. A fun one is combat slann. Bsb skavenpelt banner fencers blades potion of strength with lore of beasts potentially 6 s9 WS 10 attack for one turn.

Your slann is a way to determine how your army works so kitting him out is decided by your list. Skavenpelt banner is most useful on large groups of TG. (BTW no fewer than 20 should be in the list.)

As a bat fetching crazy lover of stegs if you don't have at least 4 monsters cannons will ruin your game.

hmm, best tip is keep your skink chars. near your saurus to stop their auto persue rule.

I'll never be able to repay CA for making GW realize that The Old World was a cash cow, left to die in a field.

Saurus warriors need to be in big bricks. Like, 30 to 40 strong. Other than that you seem to be on the right track. I prefer high magic slanns with scar vets on carnosaur. Walk between worlds on that baby is brutal.
