I have not played 7th yet, and am looking to start a marine chapter.

Any idea who is good?

Im looking at doing a Legion, Dark Angels, or Red Scorpions Chapter?

Also a chaos marines force.

How are these armies going in the 7th edition rules?

(Yes I know legions are technically 40k)

Otherwise I may do eldar and continue my dark eldar...

Create your own chapter and add unique flavor when building the models....easiest way to play all of the space/chaos marine codices

I'd got with Codex: Space Marines. proably the most options for customization and the most flexability. that said I'd start with tatical marines, rhinos etc. bare bones stuff that can be repainted for dark angels or any of the other chocies, if after some time, study and play time you decide you wanna go with another codex

I really, really like my Ravenguard in 7th. Scouting rhinos and infiltrating assault marines are a lot of fun in the newer missions. Also, stealth first turn is excellent as well. Using jump packs in the movement AND the assault phase is just icing on the cake.
